Sarah Palin aka “The Closer” is heading to Georgia to Campaign for Sen. Saxby Chambliss…

To those who keep on saying Sarah Palin is a done deal, a political barbie if you may, I say nothing could be further from the truth.
In fact, if you look under phenomenom in the dictionary, you’ll see a picture of her, right next to the entry.
Anyway, it seems other politicians are beginning to realize this, and Sen Saxby Chambliss who is facing a tough re-election battle is bringing her in to campaign for him.
For the record, I know nothing about Chambliss or his position on any issue, however, if Sarah says he’s ok, I trust her judgment and know he must be…
From the Atlanta Constitution Journal
Georgia Sen. Saxby Chambliss is calling in a closer: Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will join him for four rallies across the state on the eve of his hotly contested Dec. 2 runoff.
It will mark her return to the campaign trail after her bid as John McCain’s vice presidential candidate and a chance to show off some political muscle in a state that backed her GOP ticket with 52 percent of the vote.
Chambliss is running off against Democrat Jim Martin in a race that could help determine whether Democrats have enough votes to block Republican filibusters in the U.S. Senate. The Palin announcement electrified state Republicans in the closing days of the race.

The Eight PUMA States
November 12, 2008 by Will Bower · 27 Comments

There are eight states which John McCain would not have won if the Democrats voting for him had instead voted for Barack Obama.
These states are:
Missouri
Montana
Georgia
South Dakota
Arizona
West Virginia
Kentucky
Louisiana
This represents a total of 64 Electoral votes.
As it stands, the Electoral count is 364/174, Obama.
Had it not been for Democrats voting for McCain, this count would have been 428/110.
The PUMA voting block may not have prevented an Obama presidency, but it *did* prevent Obama from having a Reaganesque win… and thus, with it, his attempt to garner the mantle of being the Democrat’s Ronald Reagan.
And — lest anyone think that these are states which could not have been won by a Democrat anyways — all of these states (with the exception of South Dakota) were won by Bill Clinton in either 1992 or 1996… or both.
Missouri (Clinton 92/96)
Montana (Clinton 92)
Georgia (Clinton 92)
Arizona (Clinton 96)
West Virginia (Clinton 92/96)
Kentucky (Clinton 92/96)
Louisiana (Clinton 92/96)
As Georgia Votes To Elect a New Senator…

Personally I am all for having balance at the national level, I don’t think having the same party running Congress and occupying the White House is a good idea.
Having said that, here’s a campaign ad on the runoff election in Georgia…
Obama’s Camp Coercing Mentally Challenged to Vote for… Barack Obama…
October 17, 2008 by PUMA Pundit · 5 Comments
I guess winning this election is a “do or die” affair for Obama’s camp. Not satisfied marely with raising an army of dead voters, in their desperation to win the Presidency by any means necessary, Camp Obama has now resorted to personally taking the mentally challenged to voting stations and coercing them to cast votes for Obama:
There are allegations of voter fraud, as a Dougherty County family claims the vote of a mentally challenged relative was stolen.
They say the adult day rehab program where Jack Justice attends took him to vote, without the family’s permission. What’s worse is Justice says the person helping him wouldn’t cast the ballot for his choice for President.
“They told me to vote for Obama, I said no I wanted to vote for McCain,” said Jack Justice, a voter.
Jack Justice says the person helping him, selected Obama’s name. His sister says the family is often asked to sign a permission slips for trips, but for this they were never notified.
“No permission slips, no nothing, he just came home and said he had gone,” said Nancy Justice, Jack’s sister.
We questioned election officials about the procedure, who say they recall the group coming in to vote and an aide was helping the individuals, but they must sign an oath that they’ll cast the ballot however the voter prefers.
It is shameful that Obama’s candidacy has turned the democratic process into a farce…
Meanwhile, McCain calls on Obama to lay off of Joe the Plumber…
