Barack Obama or How America Learned to Stop Worrying and (started to) Love A Shameless Crook…

Let’s suppose for a second that someone gives you his/her word and then goes on to break it in the most blatant fashion, would you ever trust that person again?

That’s the question folks who support Obama ought to be asking themselves. Here is an excerpt from a November 2004 story in the Chicago Sun-Times:

Ridiculing it as “a silly question,” Democrat Barack Obama pledged Wednesday he would resist any overtures to run for president or vice president before the end of his six-year term as a U.S. senator. “I was elected yesterday,” Obama said. “I have never set foot in the U.S. Senate. I’ve never worked in Washington. And the notion that somehow I’m immediately going to start running for higher office, it just doesn’t make sense.”

But wait, that’s not all…

The same Barack Obama promised to accept federal funds for the general election if his opponent did the same.  Of course he never had any intention of keeping this promise either, so he didn’t. He claimed that he feared an infusion of 527 (special interest groups) money paying for attack ads against him, and $84 million in federal funds was not enough to fight back. Incidentally, contrary to his assertion, no major 527 group was working against him…

So on the first count of having integrity, Barack Obama obviously has none. In regular speak, he is what people refer to as a “liar”, a person whose words are not in concord with his actions. Nowhere is the ancient proverb about “Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me” more applicable than it is to the case of taking what Barack Obama says at face value.

But that’s not all folks!

Let’s look at how Barack Obama actually raises the funds he needs to compete against “imaginary” 527s…  Why, he raises them from imaginary contributors of course:

Bart Simpson, Family Guy, Daffy Duck, King Kong to name a few.

In an article posted by Newsmax, it seems one of the tricks employed by Obama to raise even more funds from “imaginary” people was to disable the security features found in the credit card donation page on his website, and then have people use disposable credit/debit cards to make contributions. In fact, over $250 million of the close to $600 million he has raised thus far came from such sources:

For example, on Oct. 14, an individual using the name “O.J. Simpson” participated in Obama’s latest small-donor fundraising drive, making a $5 donation through the campaign’s Web site.

Giving a Los Angeles address, he listed his employer as the “State of Nevada” and his occupation as “convict.” The donor used a disposable “gift” credit card to make the donation.

The Obama campaign sent O.J. a thank-you note confirming his contribution, and gave him the name of another donor who had agreed to “match” his contribution.

Four minutes earlier, an individual using the name “Raela Odinga” also made a $5 contribution, using the same credit card.

Obama donor “Raela Odinga” listed his address as “2007 Stolen Election Passage” in “Nairobi, KY.” This credit card donation raised no alarm bells in the Obama campaign.

A few minutes earlier, “Daffy Duck” gave $5 to the Obama matching campaign, listing his address as “124 Wacky Way, Beverly Hills, Calif.”

But just as with Odinga’s address, the “Wacky Way” address failed to raise any alarm bells or security traps on the Obama Web site. Daffy Duck also used the same credit card.

Within the hour, three other new donors gave $5 to the Obama campaign. They were:

# Bart Simpson, of 333 Heavens Gate, Beverly Hills, Calif.

# Family Guy, of 128 KilltheJews Alley, Gaza, GA.

# King Kong, of 549 Quinn Street, Capitol Heights, Md.

Let’s see,

Bernie Ebbers the former CEO of Worldcom, Dennis Kozlowski former CEO of TYCO and  Jeffrey Skilling, former CEO of ENRON all went to jail because they had ultimate responsibility for companies which abused the public trust.

By his own admission, Barack Obama is responsible for the Barack Obama campaign, an entity whose sole purpose is to elect him President. Yet, as can be seen above, this campaign has raised $250 million from nameless and faceless people, some of whom are enemies of the United States and some of whom are simply engaging in bribery to buy influence. If this is not a betrayal of the public trust, I am hard pressed to figure out what is.

Incidentally, you know who doesn’t worry that there is no transparency in the source of his campaign funds? Only a crook or a Manchurian Candidate.

So there you have it folks, by his words and actions Barack Obama has shown himself to be a liar and a crook. If you would not leave such a person alone in your home, babysit your kids, or borrow your car, why would you elect him President, and make him Commander-in-Chief of your Armed Forces?

Either way, if nothing else, the Obama candidacy is ultimately one where America learned to stop worrying and started to love a shameless crook…

Hmmm… Biden’s Son, Brother Sued for Multi-Million $$$ Fraud…

I guess the MSM is soooo busy looking for phantoms in Sarah Palin’s closet that this story in the Washington Post has gone completely unnoticed by them.

The gist of it is that Joe’s son and brother are accused in two lawsuits of defrauding a former business partner and an investor of millions of dollars.

A few excerpts:

Hunter Biden was made president with an annual salary of $1.2 million, despite his inexperience in the hedge fund industry,

and

A lawsuit filed by their former partner Anthony Lotito Jr. asserts in court papers that the deal was crafted to get Hunter Biden out of lobbying because his father was concerned about the impact it would have on his bid for the White House. Biden was running for the Democratic nomination at the time the suit was filed.

How long before Obama says “This is not the Joseph Biden I knew”
