Bill Ayers- Barack Obama is a “Family Friend…”

Appearing today on Good Morning America, unrepentat domestic terrorist Bill Ayers had the following nuggets of wisdom:

Here’s the video 

He did not do enough when he was actively engaged with the Weather Underground.

He is not a terrorist, because he was doing the right thing.

Obama is a family friend.

He held a fundraiser in his home for Barack Obama at the start of Obama’s political career.

So there you have it America, while most of us vote with regular people, even on election day, Barack Obama votes with Bill Ayers, an avowed communist and domestic terrorist, and Louis Farrakhan a man who believes in the destruction of Israel, and the end of Zionism…

All three, along with their family members voted at Shoesmith Elementary School, in the South Side of Chicago.

Now I am not implying anything, but it has been said that birds of a feather, do flock together…

The amazing day simply continues… No clue who this pastor is, but from what I’ve heard in this sermon, even those who are extremely committed to voting for Obama would be extremely wise to listen up…

I don’t know if I am more excited to hear someone call him out on these things, or to realize that not all African-Americans have been filled with the magic Kool-Aid…

Question: Does Barack Obama Have Any Friends Who AREN’T Communists?

I came across this earlier today at the Jawa Report, and figured I might as well share.  Hmmmm

The news of Barack Obama’s close relationship with Frank Marshall Davis has been around before, but it’s important. Via Accuracy in Media:

[T]hrough Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his “poetry” and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just “Frank.”The reason is apparent: Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member.

Aren’t we seeing a pattern here? One interaction with one old communist isn’t particularly troubling. A handful of sporadic interactions with a handful of radical left-wingers may not be particularly troubling. But a lifelong pattern of extended associations and alliances with scores of fringe, America-hating radicals is very, very troubling indeed.

Just to be clear:

It’s not just that Barack Obama’s father was a Marxist economist or that his mother Stanley came from radical far-left roots.

It’s not just that Obama’s childhood mentor Frank Marshall Davis was a famous communist poet.

It’s not just that Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s pastor, counselor and spiritual mentor of 20 years is a racist, America-hating radical.

It’s not just that Michael Phleger, Obama’s other spiritual mentor is every bit as extreme as Wright.

It’s not just that his wife Michelle has never been really that proud of America, or that she thinks this country is “mean“.

It’s not just that Obama refused to wear a flag, or that he refused to salute it during the national anthem.

It’s not just that Obama’s political and financial benefactor William Ayers is an unrepentant radical socialist terrorist.

It’s not just that Bernadine Dhorn regrets that she didn’t kill more people back in the 1960s.

It’s not just that Alice Palmer, Obama’s political mentor in Chicago, was a communist propagandist.

It’s not just that Obama was a member of the radical socialist New Party or that he ran as a candidate for public office under their far-left platform.

It’s not just that Obama was an agitator, trainer and attorney for the corrupt and radical-left ACORN.

None of these facts, by itself, tells you that much about Barack Obama. A reasonable person should, however, be able to look at this motley crew of left-wing communists and America-haters, realize that Barack Obama’s rolodex is a veritable Who’s Who of American Socialism, be very, very disturbed by that fact and ask some very probing questions about WHO Barack Obama is, WHAT he believes, and WHY this gang of radical America-haters considers Barack Obama such a good friend.

When it comes to education, Barack Obama would leave your kids behind, but not his…

While running for Congress against Bobby Rush in 2000, Barack Obama spoke about his experience:

“I have chaired major philanthropic efforts on the city, like the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC) that gave $50 million to prompt school-reform efforts throughout the city.”

The IBD article goes on to state:

The CAC operated in 210 Chicago schools between 1996 and 2001. At the CAC’s conclusion, an evaluation report was prepared and titled, “The Chicago Annenberg Challenge: Successes, Failures, and Lessons for the Future Final Technical Report of the Chicago Annenberg Research Project.“

On page 14 of the executive summary we find that “the Challenge had little impact on student outcomes.” On page 15, the report says: “There were no statistically significant differences between Annenberg schools and non-Annenberg schools in rates of achievement gain” and that “any improvements were much like those occurring in demographically similar non-Annenberg schools.”

In 1998-99, just 36% of the Annenberg school students in grades three through eight were reading at or above national norms compared with 35% in Chicago schools citywide. In math, the results were similar. Some 43% of Annenberg students were at or above national norms versus 42% for non-Annenberg students.

High school graduation rates for both groups of students were the same at 40%. The Annenberg schools edged out Chicago schools in dropout rates — 35% to 36%. As the report said, there were no signs of improvement that warranted the expenditure of $160 million.

The CAC did not improve the schools, and in some ways made things worse. The executive summary also notes: “Classroom behavior, students’ sense of self-efficacy, and social competence were weaker in 2001 than before the Challenge.”

The report stated: “In 2001, students in Annenberg schools were somewhat less inclined than in 1994 to respect each other, work well together and help each other learn.”

So in terms of actually getting results it seems Obama’s efforts were a dismal failure…

Based on these results, Barack Obama would have trouble getting chosen as a high school principal. Yet he thought they were worthy of promoting him first to congressman and now to the presidency of the United States.

When Obama collected the endorsement of the American Federation of Teachers, he told the teachers that support for alternatives to the education monopoly amounted to “tired rhetoric about vouchers and school choice” even though efforts like the D.C. Opportunity Scholarship, unlike those of the CAC, have produced stunning improvements.

Not being left behind are Obama’s daughters, who attend the private University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. There the tuition ranges from $15,528 for kindergarten to $20,445 for high school. When asked about it during last year’s YouTube debate, Sen. Obama responded that it was “the best option” for his children.

So, let’s understand this, the one thing that Obama has listed as a testament to his executive leadership is something he would not even have his own biological children take advantage of? Interesting, isn’t it?

But that’s not all. Guess who set up the Chicago Annenberg Challenge? Why, Bill Ayers of course. He set it up and put none other than a wet behind the ears Barack Obama in charge of it, Barack Obama then went on and disbursed money from it to his friends such as Reverend Jeremiah Wright, friends who in turn gave him campaign contributions or got him votes… For your viewing pleasure, here is a video linking it all together:

As Australian MSM calls Obama out for links to terrorists (plural), US MSM keeps its head in the sand…

Very interesting article to say the least. There is nothing new in it, but the fact that it was published speaks volumes about how the world is gradually coming around to calling Obama what he is; a man whose judgment is extremely questionable to say the very least…

I don’t know why the MSM is hell bent on bringing Obama in against all odds, but it is safe to say that if he is ever elected President his track record is not one that augurs well for this country’s growth and development.
I mean, how can a mainstream presidential candidate even think it is ok to associate with people who believe urban guerrilla warfare is an acceptable way to bring about change in the United States?

THE seemingly inevitable ascent of Barack Obama to become US president has hit a hurdle, as he is forced to confront accusations, supported by a hard-hitting television ad campaign, that he had a long-time association with two of America’s leading terrorists from the 1960s, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, one-time leaders of the Weathermen (also known as the Weather Underground).

It is not in dispute that Obama began his political career in 1995 at the home of Ayers and Dohrn, when his sponsor (herself on the far left of the Democratic Party and a champion of the Soviet Union as late as 1986) arranged for him to meet some influential leftists and potential campaign supporters and contributors who could launch his career.

Subsequently, “the record shows that connections between Obama and Dohrn have actively continued since Obama launched his political career in their living room in 1995″.

For example, Michelle Obama and possibly also Barack Obama worked at the same law firm at the same time as Dohrn in 1984-88, while in 1995 Ayers co-founded the Chicago Annenberg Challenge using a $US50 million grant and selected Barack Obama to be the first chairman of the board of the project, a position that Obama held for eight years. Obama and Ayers also served together on the board of the philanthropic Woods Fund for three years after Obama joined the board in 1999. Obama also served on the Leadership Council of the Chicago Public Education Fund with Ayers’s father and brother.

These facts cast doubt on the recent claims by Obama’s campaign manager that Obama knew Ayers only slightly and only because they lived in the same neighbourhood and their children went to the same school. Apart from the above connections, Ayers’s children are much older than Obama’s.

Equally unlikely is the claim that Obama knew nothing of Ayers and Dohrn’s terrorist past. As Corsi remarks, people familiar with Chicago politics “wonder how Obama can think we are so gullible as to believe Obama was the only person in Chicago who did not know Ayers’s bomb-throwing terrorist fame”.

But even if there was a long-term association between Obama and Ayers and Dohrn, is that necessarily a bad thing?

The answer requires a brief review of the turbulent time of the 1960s when Ayers and Dohrn were leaders of the Weathermen and signatories of the ultra-radical manifesto You Don’t Need a Weatherman to Know Which Way the Wind Blows, released at the national convention of the revolutionary Students for a Democratic Society in June 1969.

This 20,000-word manifesto called for a communist revolution in the US; the victory of communist North Vietnam in the Vietnam War; and the creation of “two, three, many Vietnams” designed to consume all of America’s military resources. It denounced all police as “pigs” and detailed strategies to defeat them; and advocated a vanguard role for black people, supported by university students and young people, in the revolutionary overthrow of American society.

The Weathermen advocated urban guerilla warfare and terrorism and undertook an intense campaign of bombings, violent demonstrations, riots and jail breaks from 1969 into the early ’70s, beginning with the Days of Rage, held in October 1969, to correspond to the trial of the Chicago Eight. In 1970, the group issued their Declaration of a State of War against the government of what they dismissed as AmeriKKKa.

Ayers participated in 30 bombings in this period, including attacks on the New York Police Department headquarters in 1970, the US Capitol in 1971, and the Pentagon in 1972.

Ayers had gone underground as a terrorist following a lethal mistake in a Greenwich Village townhouse, in which three members of the Weathermen were killed (including Ayers’s then girlfriend) when a nail bomb being constructed as an anti-personnel device exploded.

In 1970, Ayers (whose father was a wealthy chief executive of a large telecommunications company and later obtained his son’s freedom from prison) described the Weathermen’s message: “Kill all rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents, that’s where it’s really at.”

Similarly with Dohrn. After the Charles Manson-led Tate-LaBianca murders in 1969, Dohrn enthused: “Dig it. First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, then they shoved a fork into a victim’s stomach! Wild!”

Bizarrely, in September 1970 the Weathermen were paid $20,000 by a psychedelics distribution organisation called The Brotherhood of Eternal Love to break out of prison the leading advocate of LSD, Timothy Leary. Leary escaped to Algeria, where he joined the Black Panther leader Eldridge Cleaver in exile.

Ayers published his autobiography Fugitive Days: A Memoir on September 10, 2001, and was quoted in The New York Times on 9/11 as saying: “I don’t regret setting bombs” and “I feel we didn’t do enough”. When asked if he would “do it all again”, he responded: “I don’t want to discount the possibility.” A month earlier he was photographed for a magazine interview standing on the American flag.

In November 2007, during a speech given by Ayers at a reunion of SDS members, Ayers was recorded as praising the group’s spirit of rebellion and quoted communist revolutionary heroes in support of his views, while Dohrn referred to the US government as the “greatest purveyor of violence in the world” and complained that life in America involves living in “the belly of the beast” and at “the heart of the monster”.

Obama was, of course, only about nine when all this started, and wasn’t directly involved in the Weather Underground. However, in his autobiography Dreams From My Father (2004), he makes it clear that he was seeking in his youth to construct an identity as an African-American activist, drawing inspiration from Malcolm X, the radical face of the Nation of Islam, and other radicals from the ’60s.

Indeed, in his second book, The Audacity of Hope (2006), he declares himself to be a pure product of the ’60s and specifically distinguishes the “pre-1967 liberalism” of his mother with “its sweet-natured romanticism”, from his own radical political outlook based in the hard-core revolutionary currents of 1968 and the other violent years that followed.

He described how his vision of the ’60s was shaped by images of Black Panther leader Huey Newton, the fierce battle between police and demonstrators at the 1968 Democratic national convention, the ignominious last-second escape of defeated US personnel from Saigon, and the Rolling Stones concert at Altamont where Hells Angels bashed a young man to death.

Starting college in 1979, Obama describes how he chose his friends carefully: “The more politically active black students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and the structural feminists and punk-rock performers.”

He describes how they discussed “neo-colonialism, Frantz Fanon (the Black Power hero and apostle of cleansing violence), Eurocentrism, and patriarchy”; and how he read Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness “to help me understand just what it is that makes white people so afraid … Their demons.”

Obama concludes: “Despite a 40-year remove, the tumult of the ’60s continues to drive our political discourse.”

As Rezko starts to sing… Barack Obama might be days away from an indictment…

Avid PUMAs may remember the article we had about Alexi Giannoulias alleged banker to the mob, Obama fundraiser, DNC Convention speaker, and Illinois’ State Treasurer.

We got word earlier this week that Tony Rezko had started talking about Alexi as part of  his plea-bargain negotiations. Earlier today, Michael Sneed, columnist for the Chicago Sun Times had this blurb:

Sneed hears rumbles political fund-raiser/fixer Tony Rezko, who is now singing sweetly to the feds from his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, has been talking about his “dealings” with a Chicago bank, which has political connections.
Stay tuned.

Hmmmm. Hillbuzz it seems also got independent confirmation on the “bank” in this blurb being Broadway Bank. Giannoulias was the bank’s vice president and chief loan officer under whose watch more than $15 million in loans was approved. Some of these loans went to Michael “Jaws” Giorango, a Chicagoan twice convicted of bookmaking and running a nationwide prostitution ring.

What the heck is the Rezko connection in here you may wonder, PUMA Pundit, aren’t you merely grasping for straws you may think? Not at all, there is a major connection.

According to an article in The Chicago Sun Times , in 2006 Rezko wrote $450,000 in bad checks drawn to this bank,  at a time Alexi Giannoulias listed himself both as President and as Chairman of the Board. Coincidentally, and I use this word lightly, in 2003:

Rezko also pushed for the appointment of Chicago banker Demetris Giannoulias, brother of Democratic state Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias, to the Illinois Finance Authority board, records show.

But wait, there’s more. What do we know about Demetris Giannoulias?  Well for starters, based on his profile at Crossroads Fund where he serves as a member of the Board of Directors: 

Demetris Giannoulias, Chief Financial Officer of Broadway Bank in Chicago, is interested and involved in community organizing and economic development in low-income communities.

Community organizing? Guess which organization has been getting grants from the Crossroads Fund? ACORN of course… Incidentally, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dhorn are active fundraisers for the fund. Last year when the fund held its 25th anniversary, Barack Obama was one of the Honorary Hosts.

But enough about the Crossroads Fund, let’s get back to Demetris and Rezko.

Professionaly, here is what Demetris has been doing with Broadway Bank:

Since 2000, Mr. Giannoulias has been responsible for the administration and oversight of Broadway Bank… first as Chief Financial Officer, and currently as President and CEO. 

Now that I’ve served the appetizer, here’s the main meal:

In 2002, under the guise of funding a construction project, Rezko and his then-business partner, Daniel Muhra had borrowed $10.9 million from Broadway Bank an institution headed by Demetris and Alexei.  In 2003, Demetris was recommended by Rezko to Governor Rod Blagojevich for a seat on the Illinois Finance Authority Board, for reasons yet unknown, Demetris was not appointed. 

In 2003/2004 Tony Rezko was one of Obama’s biggest fundraisers during his Senate run. Among the contributors to the Obama campaign fund other than Rezko were Demetris and Alexi Giannoulias, both still  executive officers of Broadway Bank.

 Obama’s Campaign Funds were kept in … You guessed it, Broadway Bank.

In 2006, without justification, Alexi Giannoulias was endorsed by Barack Obama for Illinois State Treasurer. This is despite the fact that most other leading Illinois Democrats were puzzled as to what qualifications a then 28 year old Alexis had to run for such a position.

Between March and July of that same year,  Tony Rezko was charged with writing over $450,000 in bad checks in Las Vegas. Checks which were drawn to Broadway Bank.

(It is worthy to note that Rezko is not alleged to have gambled the money, merely to have gotten casino chips and cash in exchange for the checks. In other words; money laundering. $450,000 in unmarked, untaxed bills is one heck of a way to launder money.

Demetris was President and CEO of the bank at the time the bad checks were written. Since even grocery stores have check verification capabilities, I am sure Vegas Luxury Hotels do too, therefore there is no way someone could have written $450,000 in bad checks over the course of 5 months and not had his account shut down, or the checks refused. In other words, to say the least, someone at Broadway Bank played a role in facilitating the verification of those checks.)

In 2006, Rezko’s company which obtained the $10.9 million loan, filed for bancruptcy, the loan was obviously not paid back.

On November 7th, 2006 Alexis was elected into statewide office.

 Fast forward to 2008.

Rezko is now a convicted felon.

 Obama is in the Senate, attempting to become President, Demetris is still “running” the bank, Alexi is still the State Treasurer and Rod Blagojevich is the Governor. Tony Rezko is now a convicted felon (yes, I’m saying it twice for emphasis).

 To top it all, without justification, Obama gives Alexi Giannoulias a slot to speak at the DNC Convention. 

Rezko is due to be sentenced.

Before he is convicted however, Rezko promises not to squeal as long as Obama and Blagojevich take care of him:

“Your Honor, the prosecutors have been overzealous in pursuing a crime that never happened,” he wrote. “They are pressuring me to tell them the ‘wrong’ things that I supposedly know about Governor Blagojevich and Senator Obama. I have never been a party to any wrongdoing that involved the Governor or the Senator.”

“Despite my belief in my innocence, I understand I may well lose this case, If I do, I am prepared to serve my sentence.”

Unfortunately for him, his coded message fell on deaf ears, and Obama and Blagojevich decided not to intervene. Realizing jail is not such a fun place, Rezko has chosen to do what he threathened not to do if they took care of him; he starts to squeal.

So there you have it folks. Connect the dots. Where this will lead, I don’t know. The question one has to ask is whether George Bush will authorize the DOJ to indict the first “black” nominee of a major party, with less than30 days left to go before the election? I don’t have the answer to that question, but if the spirit of the law is followed, Obama might be in federal custody in the not too distant future.

McCain/Palin Ad: Obama and Ayers BFFs like Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie or Turner and Hooch or Thelma and Louise… You get my drift…

Thankfully, McCain/Palin have finally taken the gloves off on the relationship between Ayers/Dhorn and Barack Obama!

As PUMAs we know there is nothing new about either Ayers, Dhorn or Obama in this ad, what is different is that the information is finally going to make its way to the mainstream, and that is important.

Barack Obama and domestic terrorist Bill Ayers. Friends. They’ve worked together for years. But Obama tries to hide it. Why?

Obama launched his political career in Ayers’ living room. Ayers and Obama ran a radical “education” foundation, together. They wrote the foundation’s by-laws, together. Obama was the foundation’s first chairman. Reports say they, “distributed more than $100 million to ideological allies with no discernible improvement in education.”

When their relationship became an issue, Obama just responded, “This is a guy who lives in my neighborhood.” That’s it?

We know Bill Ayers ran the “violent left wing activist group” called Weather Underground. We know Ayers’ wife was on the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted list. We know they bombed the Capitol. The Pentagon. A judge’s home. We know Ayers said, “I don’t regret setting bombs. …. I feel we didn’t do enough.”

But Obama’s friendship with terrorist Ayers isn’t the issue. The issue is Barack Obama’s judgment and candor. When Obama just says, “This is a guy who lives in my neighborhood,” Americans say, “Where’s the truth, Barack?”

Barack Obama. Too risky for America.

Guess Who Else Obama Is Friends With? Why People Who Applaud The Murder of Defenseless Pregnant Women Of Course…

Oh Barack Obama, we know you are a radical per excellence, we also know that by questioning you on the company you keep, we are merely being racists and attempting to distract attention from the more important issues.

Either way, since Sarah and John have decided to speak up about the kind of people you choose to associate with, I decided to do some research of my own on one of your “mentors”. See, I remember reading long ago that she had said some pretty bizzare things, but I wanted to be sure that it was the same person.

Now who might this mentor of yours be? Why, none other than Bernardine Dohrn of course. You might remember her, she is the wife of Bill Ayers, and in 1995 you had your introduction to mainstream politics at THEIR Chicago home, the guy who appointed you to serve as the President of the Board of Directors of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, the guy whose views and opinions about radically reforming society you share, and whose vision you implemented while leading that board.

Now, I know you’ll say this happened when you were a mere wee lad, but in 1969, a certain deranged psychopath named Charles Manson led his crazed followers on a murder rampage through California. The brutality of the murders is probably unparalleled in modern American history, among those killed was Sharon Tate who happened to be eight and a half months pregnant .

Now, normal people (at least normal by mainstream standards) roundly criticized the senseless violence and had nothing but condemnation for Charles and his group of murders. But Barack, what did your friend and mentor do? Did she criticize and condemn what had happened? Of course not, that would be asking for too much, instead while addressing a “War Council” meeting of the Weather Underground, the radical organization she led with her husband, and your mentor, Bill Ayers, this is what she had to say :

“Dig it! First they killed those pigs and then they put a fork in their bellies. Wild!”

As recently as in March, her husband Bill, while still showing no remorse for his terrorist actions against the USA tried to whitewash her statement (no pun intended) by saying she wasn’t being serious, thankfully David Horowitz who was present when the statement was made had the following insight:

Even in my most inflamed moment I never supported a racist mass murderer.” In 1980, I taped interviews with thirty members of the Weather Underground who were present at the Flint War Council, including most of its leadership. Not one of them thought Dohrn was anything but deadly serious.

Long ago, Martin Luther King said people ought not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. Barack Obama, based on the company you keep, the content of your character can only be rotten to the core.

From Tony Rezko who is a convicted Felon, to Jeremiah Wright who wants to bring about the destruction of America, to William Ayers who is an unrepentant domestic terrorist, to Bernardine Dhorn who is not only an unrepentant terrorist but is also a card-carrying member of the Charles Manson fan club.
