		<description>This is with regard to the &quot;obama drops below 50%&quot; in polls.  Rass polls are with likely voters, and Gallop polls adults.  Therefore, a politician will look more closely at the likely voter poll than the random adult poll.

Regarding Obama, all he had to do was look at what happened to Clinton during his first two years in office.  He quickly shifted his priorities to become more fiscally conservative and walked away with a fairly popular presidency.

However, Clinton always was more interested in his popularity and based many of his decisions based on which way the wind was blowing.  He wasn&#039;t willing to promote legislation that was not popular.  Obama seems much more the ideologue and willing the push through as much of his pet projects as he can while his popularity is somewhat in tact.  I think he feels everyone in his party is expendable if he&#039;s able to push through healthcare legislation by the end of the year.  Even if he ends up a one term president, he&#039;ll view that one piece of legislation a victory.

That&#039;s just my opinion.</description>
