(Again). This is one of Obama's campaign promises, though. He did say under his plan energy costs will skyrocket, and the coal business will go under. However, this is the biggest tax increases ever perpetrated on the American people - yep, even on the 95% of us Obama said wouldn't see a tax increase. This horrendous bill in the middle of an economic crisis. Calls against this bill were jamming the switchboards yesterday, and still it passed. The arrogance of these people is stunning. We need to throw these bums out. They are all up for election in 2010. Thank you PP for publishing the list of the 219 who absolutely need to go. As an Iowa resident, I have already prepared my "Boswell Sold Us Out" signs and bumper stickers. This is not a party issue - it's a weasel issue.
