The Obama show continues… Yet again, he has aksed the networks for an hour of primetime coverage… TVGuide

President Barack Obama has asked to make a prime-time appearance during May sweeps.
White House officials have requested up to an hour of airtime for Wednesday, April 29, according to TV Week. The press conference, which falls on the 100th day of Obama’s presidency, will probably air in the 8 o’clock hour and address questions of the president’s performance.
Broadcast networks have not yet announced their response, but a source said that they will most likely agree to the administration’s request.
Michelle suggests we turn Primetime into an ongoing Obama hour… I tend to agree… Maybe if he spent some of that TV time actually working with the GOP to achieve some measure of bipartisanship, we’d be better, but it’s not going to happen…
Incidentally, who really wants to watch Obama? On the official White House Youtube Channel, Obama’s first weekly address as POTUS had over 1.5 Million views. Since then, his weekly addresses have had between 50k and 150k views each. It’s not that folks are not interested in public affairs, afterall, this video tribute to our men and women in uniform has gotten over 26 million views, it’s just that folks are not interested in voluntarily watching Barack Obama.
