If I thought that this spending could be paid for by a 3% increase in EVERYBODY's taxes I wouldn't be worried - but this is much bigger than that. The demonstrations are about SPENDING. Bailing out crooks, incompentents and funding pet projects of Washington with money we don't have. Every time they say a trillion, that figures out to $21,000 per paying tax filer. The interest on the debt next year will be almost a trillion. It's going to take a lot more than $90/ month to pay all that off. So again I ask you: where is that money going to come from? Roza,

The plan is that the people who are struggling to make ends meet get a decrease, and the people that are more stable have a 3% increase. THREE PERCENT, Mbander, THREE PERCENT. That is about an extra $90 per month for me, and no, that does not hurt me. $90 extra for someone who makes about $2k a month, is a big difference; I know, I've been there. So, if it means that I have to pay more, so one of my fellow Americans can pull themselves up and save money, yes, I am willing to take one for the team, and no I don't have a problem with that.
