Obama asked if he is ‘Punch Drunk’ on ‘60 Minutes’ interview… UPDATE- Video Added

The circus known as the Barack Obama presidency continues. During an interview with Steve Kroft on ‘60 Minutes’, Barack Obama’s behavior was so bizzare that Steve had to ask him if he was ‘punch drunk’, to which Obama replied he was merely expressing ‘gallows humor’.

For those who don’t know what ‘Punch Drunk’ means, here’s a definition: Dictionary

1. Showing signs of brain damage caused by repeated blows to the head. Used especially of a boxer.

2. Behaving in a bewildered, confused, or dazed manner.

Gallows humor is a type of humor that arises from stressful, traumatic, or life-threatening situations; often in circumstances such that death is perceived as impending and unavoidable.

I don’t know about you, but it is embarassing that the President of the most powerful nation on earth would behave so erratically in an interview that a journalist would ask him if he is suffering from mental illness, and the best reply the journalist could get was that it was appropriate seeing that the bitter end is near.

I don’t know about you, but it might be time to start thinking of impeaching and removing Obama on grounds of mental illness... Politico

Steve Kroft and Barack Obama- 60 Minutes

President Barack Obama said he believes the global financial system remains at risk of implosion with the failure of Citigroup or AIG, touching off “an even more destructive recession and potentially depression.”

His remarks came in a “60 Minutes” interview in which he was pressed by an incredulous Steve Kroft for laughing and chuckling several times while discussing the perilous state of the world’s economy.

“You’re sitting here. And you’re— you are laughing. You are laughing about some of these problems. Are people going to look at this and say, ‘I mean, he’s sitting there just making jokes about money—’ How do you deal with— I mean: explain. . .” Kroft asks at one point.

“Are you punch-drunk?” Kroft says.

“No, no. There’s gotta be a little gallows humor to get you through the day,” Obama says, with a laugh.

Of course, violence in Iraq was way down even last year at this time so Obama was not paying much attention to the war either.
