Barack Obama admitted in an interview with The San Francisco Chronicle during the campaign that cap and trade energy policy would “cause electricity prices to skyrocket.”

** Cap and trade will likely cost $700 to $1,400 dollars per family per year.

At times I feel like it's just me against the world...

    Well, if it’s you (and maybe a few more like you) against the world we’re fighting, I’ll take our chances.

    Comment about the book cover title, “The Audacity of Me.”

    First, it’s brilliant.

    Second, nice segue, considering BHO’s standard speech line, “I’m asking you to believe in your own audacity!”

    Of course, it’s even better (as in more ironic), since the great orator didn’t write those words. We don’t know who wrote them, but we do know that fellow David Axelrod client Deval Patrick said them long before BHO adopted (stole) them for himself. Along with some other of his popular phrases.

    But, of course, nobody cares. Some people want so much for him to be what they want him to be that they’ll keep believing long after he’s stripped bare and shown to be the puffed up fraud and snake oil salesman that he is.

    Why does HOPE rhyme with DOPE? I don’t know, but it fits.

    Can you imagine (since The One is up there past most of the recognized messiah of the world now, the comparison should be fair) the uproar if someone discovered that Jesus Christ himself was actually borrowing lines from some other obscure prophet?! Jesus got published and the other dude faded into dust.

    But this one? We want one so…. he’ll do.

    Not for me.

    Don’t leave out the gas prices. It is estimated that this bill could raise the price of a gallon of gas as much as $1.27 per gallon. When gas was about $4.00 a gallon several months ago, Obama said he only wished it hadn’t climbed so quickly. He has no regard for how this increase affects us in our day to day lives.

    So tell me, is this a tax increase on 100% of the American people?

    Change you can believe in.

    The Audacity of Raising taxes to the rich to give free health care to the poor. Why socialist countries can’t be world powers?? Because they take from one to give it to the other. This cycle can’t just work! You can keep the poor forever poor and voting for you, but you can’t expect the middle and upper classes stay “inmobile” to such mess.
    The class warfare Obama intends to rage is not going to work in AMERICA. Dividing the wealth is not going to produce permanent and rewarding jobs. Creating wealth does.
    Why the Soviet union became a world power(at least for its first 40 years?)
    Because they followed the strict Marxist doctrine. But even in that case this empired collapsed.
    Obama wants to create some kind of socialism mixed with capitalism. The capital, if divided, will not produce any new capital. If you give free health care to million of people, you need to tax the hell out of other many millions! Electricity will cost more, gas will cost more…Going to the nationalized doctor might not cost you a peny, but driving to buy grosseries or getting gas might make you say : “Godamm America!”
