At times I feel like it's just me against the world...

Well, what do you expect? 69 millions Americans voted for a community organizer to be president. That is all he does! That is all he knows to do! He will transform the US Government into a huge community organization. Organizers don’t know anything about economy, defense, security or administration, they only know how to rally support and deceive the masses….Ernesto Guevara, Fidel Castro, Hugo Rafael Castro and Vladimir Lenin ring any bell?

PUMA Pundit – I fear that if this main remains in office for the remaining 4 years (or heaven help us – 8) that he will create another Depression!

  • Sparky

CJ – did you see what Chavez is doing – he is trying to extend his leadership – aka….Dictatorship! Democracy is dead in South America.

  • D-NY

How was Chavez able to do that legally? Did he put it to a referendum or something?

I am surprised that the Wall Street Journal, which skewered Hillary Clinton at every opportunity — and especially attacked her economic analysis, in which she pointed out that the economy under Bush is collapsing — is now an acceptable source on this website. The U.S. banking system IS collapsing, due to the years of free market, deregulated, globalized policies of Bush-Cheney. Obama has not offered a solution, and Geithner’s plan is less than worthless, but he is not wrong in pointing out that the financial system is in deep trouble.

  • Iceman32_89

As a community organizer myself I take a huge offense to that statement.I get up everyday and make a difference in the world and in people’s lives. What do you do?Sit on your lazy butt and complain about Obama. If you’re not happy DO SOMETHING!!! To be compared to some of the worst people in the world is offensive and shows what kind of person you are. It’s appaling and I will not stand for it.I like coming here.I read the blogs and I don’t mind that it has veered off to the extreme right. That’s fine but statements like that I can’t tolerate

Sorry if you got offended. You are a community organizer, do you think you can run a super complex country like the USA? Do community organizational skills gives you any capability to run the most powerful nation on earth? Just because Che Obama went to Harvard and Columbia does not give him skills necessary to run this country. The most suscesful presidents has been governors, with years of executive experience. They run budgets, security, manpower, education, energy, etc, etc, etc.
This man wants to pay back his 08 supporters and send money to his future supporters for 2012 with possible jobs that will not be PERMANENT, and that will mortgage Americans for at least 30 years.

Do you think billions for Planned parenhood, ACORN, STD prevention, fuel eficient cars for goverment will fix this economy??

  • Iceman32_89

Me personally I couldn’t do it but I think that one of the great things about this country is that anyone who is smart enough and willing to work hard can be president. The GOP liked to mock barack because he was a community organizer.Sarah Palin especially mocked him a few times about it.I never heard Obama once mock Palin for being the mayor of a tiny town in Alaska. What the GOP doesn’t understand is that community organizers are of the people. We do the work that they don’t want to do.We see the hurting and pain everyday.I run fundraisers,I keep a budget,I lead people,I have my own small business all the while I have a day job too.
You rant and rave about things you have no idea about.Like I said if you’re that dissatisfied do something about it.Go round up some pumas and start a grass roots effort in your city.Be active in your community and let your views be heard rather than sitting behind your desk tapping away on a keyboard.

  • Carmelo Junior

Well “tapping away on a keyboard”(funny!)on PUMAs site is just a couple of minutes in a boring day. Bloging is a form of spreading that word out. Hundreds of thousands visit this site.
Sarah Palin’s famous line about community organizer was not mocking Obama but to compare that job(or occupation) to the responsibilities an elected executive official has on a daily basis. Yes! It was funny as hell because her communications and sarcasm skills are excellent(just as part of the CONVENTION show).
Any one can be president(except me, I was born in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico LOL, but I might start a prescedent)smart and attractive enough to bring votes.

By the way, I’m watching Greta in the Fox channel interviwing Bristol Palin and both Tripp and Trigg Palin together on TV for first time! Take that evil and sexist blogers who were saying Trigg was actually Sarah’s son.

    Good job Greta!

  • Carmelo Junior

I must have said Trigg Palin has been said to be Bristol’s son. Now that stupid rumor and lie is gone to rest.

  • D-NY

    Carmelo,
As far as I know, Puerto Ricans are legally eligible to be president. Since Puerto Ricans are citizens, (and i assume you were born there) you qualify as a natural born citizen, just as McCain would have despite having been born in the Panama Canal Zone…

So just FYI, no need to close any doors for yourself :)
