If you’ve been wondering which Senators voted to confirm a self-confessed tax cheat as the Treasury Secretary, wonder no more.
I just have to wonder what Obama promised some of them in exchange for their vote. It baffles me that people entrusted to look after the Republic would put political expediency before principle.
Anyway, here’s the Roll Call. H/T Michelle

Geither Confirmation Roll Call
Surprisingly, some Democrats actually put country before party and voted against Geithner, those brave souls are:
Sen. Tom Harkin of Iowa, Sen. Robert Byrd of West Virginia and Sen. Russ Feingold of Wisconsin. Independent Sen. Bernard Sanders of Vermont, who caucuses with the Democrats, also voted against confirmation.
Also, here’s a video of Senator Sen. Jim Inhofe (R) Oklahoma as to why he didn’t vote for Tim Geithner.
His two issues are those you’ve read here numerous times. Geithner’s support of the bailout, and his tax evasion.
To say I agree with Jim Inhofe 100% would be an understatement.
Meanwhile, it seems Obama has other Tax/Nanny Problems in the works…
