I disagree with the Sarah campaign drag thing. If you notice, and I have stated this before, McCain was a drag to himself: he never convinced conservatives to go with enthusiasm to cast their votes for him. That was from January to May. Either Obama or Hillary were favorites to defeat him(possible Hillary by a landslide). McCain polling were always behind these two. And when Obama clinched the nomination he went like 7 points over McCain! The only time McCain went above Obama was by the end of July by 4 points. Before Sarah was picked Obama still had a slight edge over McCain. After Sarah was picked all went for McCain: huge rallies, magazine covers, for first time polls showing McCain over 6 points ahead. McCain was on his way to a sure victory until the famous economy meltdown of mid September. If we did not have that meltdown, McCain would have won. But After that crisis everything went up hill for him. Obama consolidated his lead among minorities while McCain ran an horrible boring campaign. Having country music as campaign music when most Americans don't like that kind of music. Avoiding the Bill Ayers and Jeremiah wright discussion.

By October 15 many high profile conservatives were already conceding the elections and hoping Sarah could pick up the pieces for 2012. This elections were lost by McCain NOT Sarah. But if McCain would have picked another white male as running mate, he would have suffered a "Cartesian" lost! Sarah was the only reason Obama did not have a landslide win.

I know Sarah Palin's nomination would shake the whole nation and the world. Even more than Obama's nomination. Obama is "black" BUT he is still a MALE. That's why I say if Sarah Palin gets the nomination all hell is going to break loose and the funny thing is Obama supporters know that already! I mean, this time will not be an old boring former pilot from rich military family, this time will be a young, attractive, articulate, charismatic, humble, middle class, strong female governor (senator?) who connects with mainstream Americans.

The left and Obama robots are just hoping the nomination of the first woman for US president never happens and NOT by the "racist" , "rich" and "sexist "Republicans.

If she is all that you say she is then why didn't the predictions you have made come to fruition this time around?

What you say might be true but in talking with friends and doing some research she is a very polarizing figure. As has been stated many many times her polling numbers got progressively worse as the campaign went on to the point where she was a drag on the GOP ticket. She is one of the reasons I changed my vote from McCain to Obama.I hope she has learned from this past experience and if she comes back she'll be better prepared for whats in store

He needs to do 100% better than Reagan (at home and abroad) to be able to make a second term. But by the way this is looking he will have a hard time beating the possible first woman and the first GEN X nominated for president. If the GOP nominates Sarah, all hell will break loose. Women are going to go nuts, minorities are going for her, the youth will fall for her and even she might steal 2 or 3 percent of Obama's black vote. Obama's presidency will be nothing compared to the nomination and election of the first woman US president. Sarah looks more and more like Reagan in style, thoughts and faith. For real, Obama and his thugs will have to come with all their smear, and even resurrect the 08 campaign to defeat this lady who is already a rock star. Let's see how everything plays out, but everything is looking GOLD for this governor.
