Rod Blagojevich and his wife, Patty, spent most of the afternoon in the offices of Ed Genson:
Genson told reporters Sunday evening that he has “to check some conflicts, but I’m sure I’ll be retained.” Blagojevich and Genson met at his downtown Chicago law offices on Saturday and again on Sunday.
The governor wore a running shirt as he left Genson’s office Sunday with his wife shortly before 6 p.m. Reporters hollered questions at Blagojevich but he responded only to wish everyone a merry Christmas.
To the best of my knowledge, Ed Genson represents high profile clients who do not plea bargain and who do not plead guilty. Two examples being Conrad Black and R. Kelly.
