Blagojevich’s Financial Troubles and Drug Use…

This is so totally of topic, but I wanted to raise a topic/ask a question to all the pro-lifers:

I was just looking at Fox News and during the commerical break an advertisement comes on for PlanB the “emergency contraceptive”. What it is “for those of you who don’t know” is basically a “improved” morning after pill. They tried to put a spin on it like people are stupid but in essence, that’s all it is. You take it up to 72 hours after a “sexual emergency” (i.e, condom breaks, unprotected sex, etc) and it is supposed to prevent pregnancy.

My questions:

1)If pro-lifers think life begins @ conception, is this not abortion in a pill?

2) WHAT THE HELL, is an ad like this doing on ultra-conservative Fox News?

I’m still scratching my head.

plan b is not an abortion pill. its a pill with a high dose of hormone that either makes the egg infertile and irritates the uterine lining so that a fertilized egg won’t implant.

so when exactly does life begin? does it begin at conception? when the baby’s heart beats? when the baby’s brain is functioning? or when the baby is born?

what about in vitro fertilization? for ivf the woman is given a high dose of hormones so that she will ovulate more than one egg. her eggs are then fertilized in a dish. however the woman my opt to freeze down her embryos and implant them into her uterus 1 at a time. are these frozen embryos alive? and if the woman hasn’t used up all of her frozen embryos the embryos either remain frozen or are destroyed. just some food for thought. these are things that people don’t take into account.

Do you actually believe that MSNBC or CNN is fair and balanced? Even Hillary said that Fox News was the fairest towards her.

Fox News is the most watched News station – must be an awful lot of ultra-conservatives out there.

I WATCH Fox News. Religiously. Did you not read that in the FIRST line? Fox News has high ratings because a wide variety of people of all backgrounds, parties, etc. tune in because they have excellent coverage.

CALM DOWN! Had you not been looking for a fight, or calmed you speeding brain down long enough to actually read the post, you would’ve seen that. Fox News is conservative. They pride themselves on it. That’s a fact. I wasn’t saying it to be negative.
