It never ceases to amaze me how people can come out and say that they are opposed to same-sex marriage. I mean our constitution guarantees our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. It does this without regard to gender, age, sexual orientation or race, so why are some people hell bent on making sexual orientation the only exemption?
If two consenting adults who are of sound mind choose to enter a relationship, what business of the state is it to say they have no right to do so because they are of the same gender?
Content of character is what determines if a person is a good role model or not, sexual orientation plays no role in that whatsoever.

Maybe, just maybe, one day we would really be a nation where people are judged by the content of their character…
