At times I feel like it's just me against the world...

I don’t think “the pursuit of happiness” means that I have to let my children see two women getting married or two men holding hands at the mall. Sure, civil unions are perfect with me. Gay Men having “in vitro” babies just to taste some fatherhood (even when might alter the kid’s lives) ala Ricky Martin is fine with me. But changing the traditional definition of marriage just to please an ultra skinny sector of the population don’t sound pursuit of any happiness to me. Sounds more like pursuing anarchy.

I feel the same about abortion PP. I don’t believe in abortion, so I wouldn’t have one. But, I definitely don’t think the government should have any jurisdiction over personal choices.

In the words of the great Whoopi Goldberg “If you don’t agree with same-sex marriages, don’t marry a gay person.”

    It’s that simple.

P.S. I am married, and I don’t understand it when people say gay-marriage threatens the institution of marriage. Can someone explain that to me?
