UPDATE Seems this came about from a Zogby Poll, some of the startling revealations:
Let’s start with Zogby’s numbers. The poll surveyed over 500 self-professed Obama voters and has an MOE of 4.4%, with 55% having a college degree and over 90% having a high-school diploma. It asked 12 multiple-choice questions; only 2.4% got at least 11 correct. Only .5% got all them correct.
- 57.4 could NOT correctly say which party controls congress (50/50 shot just by guessing)
- 81.8 could NOT correctly say Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism (25% chance by guessing)
- 82.6 could NOT correctly say that Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot (25% chance by guessing)
- 88.4% could NOT correctly say that Obama said his policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket (25% chance by guessing)
- 56.1 % could NOT correctly say Obama started his political career at the home of two former members of the Weather Underground (25% chance by guessing).And yet…..
- Only 13.7% failed to identify Palin as the person their party spent $150,000 in clothes on
- Only 6.2% failed to identify Palin as the one with a pregnant teenage daughter
- And 86.9 % thought that Palin said that she could see Russia from her “house,” even though that was Tina Fey who said that!
Update: Zogby confirms Ziegler’s numbers, and barks back at accusations of push-polling:
“We stand by the results our survey work on behalf of John Ziegler, as we stand by all of our work. We reject the notion that this was a push poll because it very simply wasn’t. It was a legitimate effort to test the knowledge of voters who cast ballots for Barack Obama in the Nov. 4 election. Push polls are a malicious effort to sway public opinion one way or the other, while message and knowledge testing is quite another effort of public opinion research that is legitimate inquiry and has value in the public square. In this case, the respondents were given a full range of responses and were not pressured or influenced to respond in one way or another. This poll was not designed to hurt anyone, which is obvious as it was conducted after the election. The client is free to draw his own conclusions about the research, as are bloggers and other members of society. But Zogby International is a neutral party in this matter. We were hired to test public opinion on a particular subject and with no ax to grind, that’s exactly what we did. Obama is called “The Messiah” by his supporters. Hitler was called the same but in German “Der Furher” which means the “messianic liberator” or the “anointed one”.
Obama uses demagogical “cliches” to make a stand and acquire the support of the people.
Hitler used demagogy to attract the support of 80% of Germans. Demagogy is ” impassioned appeals to the prejudices and emotions of the populace”. Obama used the race card often when delivering his speeches. His famous statement about the dollar bill’s faces is an example of demagogy!
Hitler went to power promising to “fix the German economy”. The same is said about Obama who wants to “fix the American economy”.
Like Hitler did with his famous book “Mein Kamf” (My Fight) where he describes how he started to see the world during his teenage years, Obama also wrote a book called “Dreams of my Father” where he also describes his teenage years. Note that most dictators and narcissist leaders love to write books about themselves. What we call “memoirs”. Most of these “memoirs” become best sellers because their supporters buy them by millions.
Hitler thought that human life was worth only if that human life was of Caucasian people, and the rest should die. Obama has similar thoughts about unborn babies. He supports the destruction of unborn human beings in the mother’s womb.
Obama has the same personality traits of Adolf Hitler: arrogance, narcissism, rhetorical intellect and demagogical appeal to the populace.

Like Obama wouldn’t have gotten a sizable share of those delegates if the state had been allowed to count. Hillary Clinton TRIED to steal the election, and failed, and you’re a bunch of willfully ignorant cuntbags for ignoring this truth. Sore losers.
OK, so:
MI and FL break rules for early primaries, and are punished by the DNC. Both Obama and Clinton agree that both states will not have their delegates counted.
Obama doesn’t campaign in either state because they will not count, and takes his name off in Michigan.
Clinton, knowing and supporting the decision of the DNC, decides anyways to run in both states, even going so far as to campaiging in both.
STOP:
If you don’t recognize right there that she was trying to game the system by setting a failsafe up in case she lost a close battle, then you deserve to be punched in the face. She was trying to cover herself for later on so she could try to go back and argue that these states should be suddenly counted)
Moving on,
Obama gains momentum fair and square by winning 10 races in a row, putting himself in a position where it would be almost mathematically impossible to lose.
But..
Clinton, instead of doing what was right for the party, does not concede like every other candidate would do when facing nearly imossible odds, and instead decides to start bitterly attacking, trying to damage him in any way she can, for her own ambitions for the white house. Her strategy now is to try to damage him so bad that she might have another possible strategy towards the end, where she can then go to the super-delegates and argue that he is now too damaged, and that the GOP would tear him apart (with the BS arguments and attacks that she raised).
As we hit April, then May, it’s more and more of a mathematical certainty that she will lose, but she refuses to give in(she is planning this whole time to use her MI/FL and/or super-delegate cards that she created), and she instead runs up massive debt, and increases her desperate attacks against him, all the while living off of the votes of the rural white religious hicks that are voting against him because he’s black– states that she would have no chance to win against the GOP, states that don’t represent democratic values, states with voters who have a population of people with low education and intelligence– West Virginia, Kentucky, and so on.
He of course holds her off, and she actually tries to pull the MI and FL cards, arguing that they should get their delegates counted, and that she should be awarded full delegates from Michigan, while he should be awarded ZERO delegates. Everybody in the democratic party accept you stupid ignorant twats that just wanted a woman to win get behind her on this, actually arguing that she should get a full Michigan delegate count with him getting zero. (this is your idea of of fair democracy, and you claim that anything else is HIM stealing the election).
So now, she sits there in may with the crutch of her reasoning for why the DNC should ignore the will of the states(he had more votes, more delegates, more states won, millions of voters who caucused giving him a clear advantage) as the following:
A. She should be awarded the full Michigan delegate count, and he should be given zero, even though because they both agreed to go off of the ballot, while she stayed on.
B. Florida should be counted, and the results should stand– the results that came after he didn’t spend a single day or put a dollar into the state.
C. She supposedly had give or take the same amount of votes, even though she and you people are conveniently ignoring the millions of people that voted for him in the caucus states, making it a 100% fact that he had the support of millions of more democrats
D. Super-delegates should vote for her, the former FIRST FUCKING LADY, a woman living off of brand name (ever see “The Distinguished Gentlemen”?), over him because he now has too much baggage, and that the GOP would tear him apart (which was BS, and never ended up working, proving she was wrong)
E. He can’t win the election because the rural hick GOP states won’t vote for him (like they would have voted for her over McCain/Palin, though; and he ended up grabbing a bunch of red states anyways, again exposing her bull shit)
F. uck you, you stupid ignorant bitches. Nobody listens to you dumb sluts. Hahahahahahahahah you lost, skanks. Deal with it.

everybody knows how Obama was supported by ACORN, the criminal organization that made him win the caucuses. Hillary was beating him in all big states where ACORN could not compete with the Hillary democrat establishment: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Texas, California, etc.! Obama even lost Massachussets! By May, Obama had already gotten millions in “donations from the internet” Yeah right! Obama could not use his fraudulent tricks in Puerto Rico or West Virginia.

The bottom line is–Hillary lost, Obama won. Hillary ran an ineffective campaign–off message. She picked up steam at the end but it was too late. And by then I was on board with Barack as I became disenchanted with many things about her (as mentioned by aph3x). I started to pay attention to Obama, as did most Americans. He made sense, he was calm, he was smart, he played fair, and no drama. He was someone with a vision who gave, and gives hope to many in this country, and heaven help us we need it now. I was having dinner at the White House on September 15th with the Bushes–the day the economy collapsed, when McCain claimed that the fundamentals of the American economy were strong. Palin comes on the scene and opens her mouth and that was it. She is a joke and no comparison to Hillary, nor any other intelligent woman. I have a Ph.D. and have been PTA president, and I’m a white female. I think I am actually more qualified than Pain to be VP (ha ha) If someone is to be next in line to be president, they better be smarter than me, even tempered, have good judgment, and a clear vision. Sorry, Sarah, thanks, but no thanks, as you are not it. Nor do you hold a candle to Hillary Clinton. I am so glad that Obama won, and if Hillary chooses to be SOS, I will support her wholeheartedly.

After he lost the 1976 GOP nomination people said he was done. You’re right–our political leaders don’t need to be grads of Ivy league schools, but they at least should be knowledgeable about global and local issues and policies. Honestly, I don’t think Palin talks like ordinary Americans as I think she is accomplished as a speaker when she has a teleprompter–something not all ordinary Americans can do so I’ll give her that. But when it comes to understanding complex issues, she is lacking. Even GOP folks have said that. She is not ready which is fine–but the worst part is she actually believes she is ready to be president and that’s the joke. I can think of so many other GOP women who are much more qualified than Palin. But that’s fine–let her think she is ready to run. That just guarantees 4 more years of Obama as Palin is polarizing, similar to Hillary (although they are on opposite ends of the spectrum). II love coming to this site and reading all the comments. I was more than happy to just agree or disagree privately with what is posted here until I read “aph3x_26” disgusting, misogynistic, and completely trashy comments. If you really think writing an essay on your take of the election would sway opinion here, you are wrong. Unfortunately, I think you already know that and are using this site as a way to showcase your sexism behind the anonymity of a web site.
I consider myself a libertarian and feel disenfranchised by both parties. I dislike the Clintons, but there should be no doubt in anyone’s mind that Hillary was the most qualified of the two candidates. For those that say “Hope/Change”… blah blah blah blah. There will be no hope or change in Washington other than spending more of our hard earned dollars, creating more regulation that will increase costs to consumers, and more corporate welfare to union companies.
The more money Government has, the less power the citizens have.
It takes a special kind of ego for someone to run for office. It’s all about power and control folks. We’ll see what Obama does. Looks like he’s playing it safe right now, but my guess is that he makes the same mistakes Clinton did in his first term
P.S. Everyone please stop saying you are smarter than Palin. Being a politician is not about being smart, it’s about being aggressive, savvy, surrounding yourself with the right people, and connecting with constituents (in our shallow and apathetic society, add photogenic and a great public speaker). If you asked Obama even half the questions she was asked before he knew he was running for Pres, my guess is his answers would be much of the same (although we all know that Obama very rarely dealt with hardball questions). It takes more than a couple weeks to get up to speed on the intricacies of world politics. Frankly, even Biden couldn’t answer some of the questions and he’s been doing it for 30 years (actually, he answered the questions, he was just wrong).
