His movement was a community effort in fighting segragation and that blacks at least have the right the vote if you believe in that. And would you consider Malcolm X and Elijah Muhammad as racist because if you do he sat down with both of those men at time that they had the ability in helping the black community, that Billy Graham and many of those white preachers didn't care doing during that time. Try to study a little bit of Black History.

Dr. Martin Luther King(whose real first name wasn't Martin) never said he was a "community organizer". He never supported a fraudulent organization nor did any gathering with terrorist nor was financed by middle east terrorists, nor said anything against America or religion. He never said "America is not longer a Christian nation".
Find me a Martin Luther King quote where he says abortion is just like "his pay grade", or a quote where he says that "these organizations will be essential part of his pilicies".
Martin Luther King might have been a cheater, womanizer but he was not a racist nor "palled" with racists, terrorists and criminals.

Damn... if community organizing isn't a real job then I need to go and check my paycheck. Because I'm getting paid to "not a real job". Not a bad deal. Community organizers exist on both the left and the right. They are simply folks who have a point of view and try to organize like-minded folks to collectively better their communities. So, folks on the right who "organize" against abortion are community organizers, just like folks who "organize" poor people to claim their housing rights.

In fact this site is a form of community organizing. It attempts to rally a bunch of angry folks to be angry.

Carmelo Junior...

Kennedy was a Roman Catholic, not a Christian. It was very controversal for someone who defers to the pope for advice to run for President at the time.

Oh, and good luck with the "closet muslim" bs... nobody with an ounce of brain cells really beleives that sort of fear mongering. Either he was "associated" with the Holy Trinity Church for the last ~20 years or not, you can't have it both ways.

Furthermore, I am ashamed that people such as yourself exist in America, who would have the gaul to turn freedom of religion into a modern witch hunt. Muslims are generally respectable, good people, and Americans who are Muslim should have every right to run for political office, even president in the future, without being prejudged/labeled terrorists.
