10 things the MSM ought to focus on instead of picking on Sarah Palin…

November 6, 2008 by PUMA Pundit

Some folks in the media need to realize that it’s time to move on from bashing Sarah Palin non-stop. In the last 48-72 hours Sarah Palin has been assaulted from all sides by the MSM for offenses real and imagined. In fact, it has gone past absurdity and entered the realm of insanity.

The MSM needs to take it down a notch and focus on more pressing issues than whether the Governor of Alaska prepared for an ambush interview with Katie Couric or not. Since the media seems to be clueless, here are ten things it might want to investigate about our new President-elect, Barack Obama:

1) His actual country of birth. A “certificate of life birth” and actually being born in a place are two different things.

2) The extent of his relationship with Tony Rezko.

3) The extent of his relationship with Bill Ayers.

4) What really happened when he went travelling through Pakistan on an Indonesian passport.

5) Why he spent $5.3 million to construct a stage for a speech at the Barakoplis when one was already available at the Convention Center, and what that says about his priorities when it comes to spending other people’s money.

6) Why he spent $400,000 of campaign funds on two trips to Hawai’i that were personal in nature, first one was for a vacation, second one was to see his grandmother. Explanation: same as #5.

7) The extent of his relationship with ACORN.

8) The true source of his campaign contributions, $250 million of them came from faceless, nameless entities.

9) Why he has not helped Hillary Clinton pay off her campaign debt even though Hillary (putting party before country) decided to pour her heart out for him on the campaign trail.

10) What his “wealth redistribution” would really mean to the economic interests of the average American.

See, any of those 10 things would be infinitely more important than any of the hatchet job stories that have been running against Governor Palin in the MSM since the election was concluded.

For the record, even if McCain had picked George Washington or Benjamin Franklin as his running mate, the MSM would still not have shed their extreme support for Obama, and taken an objective stand. So to say Sarah Palin cost him the election is not only false, it is blatantly insulting to the close to 60 million Americans who voted for that ticket, despite almost 24/7 propaganda by the MSM for them not to do that.

From all indications, Sarah Palin is a decent, humble God-Fearing woman, that anyone would be proud to have as a friend, daughter, wife, sister or mother.

I agree, my mom and I spent days before the election calling the so-called journalists and trying to at least get them to run #1 and that his case is still in the US Supreme Court. All I got was attitude and they haven’t followed the case because I knew more than them. I also got an email that was sent anon. that was attacking in tone. If anyone wants to see it let me know I have it saved.

I remember a comment to one of the posts here where it stated that FOX had struck a deal with the Obama Camp to go softer on Obama. I have looked and looked for that comment again but can’t find it.
It’s unfortunated that FOX is the best that we have.
I think the Republicans and PUMAs should start now trying to win the election in 2012 and that starts with trying to stop the voter fraud, but it also includes continuesing to try to expose the problems with Obama. My experience tells me that voters really don’t care if someone is corrupt though. I think they won’t care about the citizenshipt issues now either.
Someone sent me a copy of a bumper sticker that sums it up: There is a large “O” and underneath it, it just says “shit”.

Let’s pass the voice. Sarah Palin with a natural US born Hispanic male(Mario Diaz-Baralt) will be a Reagan landslide win in 2012. A ticket like this will steal at least 80% of Latino votes from fraud Obama, and will take Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Conneticut, and might even take California and New York.
Obama won with the minorities support. Blacks will vote 95% for Obama no matter what. With a Hispanic in the ticket the GOP will take at least 15% of Obama votes!
Bobby Jindal don’t look like he can do anything. There are not too many India-Americans in the US.
Sarah Palin(white woman) and Mario Diaz-Baralt(Hispanic male) is the only chance for America to get rid of fraud Obama in 2012!

    Right on!

The more the useful idiots demonize her the more it only confirms she is perceived as the real threat by them… MSM are sexist low lifes.

    Go Sarah 2012!!!

  5. PUMAsympathiser on November 6th, 2008 3:01 pm

OK, I’ll just put a PALIN 2012 on my vehicle. I am so sick of this sexism. My husband sent in a complaint to FOX News last night. I sent one in this morning. It’s all so outrageous. Who would have ever thought that the sexism in this country would be where it is in this year of 2008?!

Just sent the following to McCain:

    # # #

Even hard-core Obama supporters I know have spoken with great respect and admiration about your concession speech. I don’t think that is worth much, at the cost of our nation’s future but there you have it.

What concerns me is that, at the moment, you have shown more respect and support for your opponent than you have for your own running mate.

You, sir, need to stand up once more. You, sir, need to speak out, loudly and clearly, to stop the disemboweling of this incredibly gifted woman.

It might be the last official act you perform as a candidate for the Presidency. But, it will define who you are in the mind of many of your supporters, for a very long time.

What’s right is right. If you are, truly, a man of honor, do the right thing. Stand up and say, ENOUGH!

This just in: Palin did not know Africa was a continent. hahahaha

Nor did she know what countries are in North America.

    Thank you “MSM”/ McCain aide

  9. Sparky on November 6th, 2008 5:30 pm

JoeFool - why are you on this website - seriously - you are such a loser. You are a nobody trying to be a somebody. Worshipping liars, cheaters and frauds.

Look up loser and you just might see yourself described in their.

  10. donnybball on November 6th, 2008 5:57 pm

    Obama day 2 - djia down 443
2 day total now stands approx 940 points down.

Seems the Messiah cannot fix the stock market.

  11. qq on November 6th, 2008 6:28 pm

I really think those McCain’s “aids” are bad, they try to trash Palin to get over for themselves. It’s very obvious they are those who did very bad job. I don’t believe what they said Palin doesn’t know Africa is a continent, except Palin never went to school! As matter of fact, I think Palin is quite smart and witty. She may not have enough experiences when the time she was picked, but she had done pretty well. That Ketie Couric, we all know her news report is pretty lousy, but she definitely knew how to bite another woman who did not know much about how mean those reporters are. I feel so sick of MSNBC, why they are so cruel and so unfair to Plain? (looks like they want to chew others bones).

JoeCool sounds also like a pretty low life. I believe someone laugh over others (with or without facts) in that tone is pretty much evil. However Obama has relied on those type of people to win his election

  12. qq on November 6th, 2008 6:44 pm

Well, I think Hillary and McCain resulted the same fates. It is obvious they could not win the campaign that Obama managed (a seamless communist style). Could Hillary and McCain together to run as independent? Obama ruined two great persons careers, and he will not give Hillary and Bill any important positions even they have done so much for him. However, he will use all those best aids of Clinton to make them loyal to him. Which wicked politic skills OB has, they are dark and scary!

  13. qq on November 6th, 2008 7:20 pm

I always have a question. No matter what, McCain got not much less voters than OB. But why he raised much less funds than OB for his campaign? I believe his supporters should not be less generous than OB’s supporters. Besides, McCain had used public fund for his election running. But, he seemed to have much less money than OB. I’m quite puzzled.

Stock market was up the week leading to the elections until the fake messiah was voted in. Once investors found out that Pelosi and Obozo wanted to dip into our 401K plans - everyone started pulling their money out. I know I’m going to look at my plans and figure out where to invest - most probably the cayman island banks.

  15. Sparky on November 6th, 2008 7:37 pm

I pulled this from purplepeoplevote.com….this would explain the bailout on WallStreet.

If you don’t think an Obama, Pelosi, Reid run government would result in a dramatic swing to the left, read US News and World Reports article on congress’ discussion of takng over people’s 401K’s. 401K’s are not ‘rich people’ savings plans they are middle America’s retirement and savings plans, and Dems are looking to make them into ‘government created’ accounts. Would Obama, Dems Kill 401(k) Plans?

I hate to use the “S” word, but the American government would never do something as, well, socialist as seize private pension funds, right? This is exactly what cash-strapped Argentina just did in the name of protecting workers’ retirement accounts (Efharisto, Fausta’s Blog). Now, even Uncle Sam isn’t that stupid, but some Democrats might try something almost as loopy: kill 401(k) plans.

House Democrats recently invited Teresa Ghilarducci, a professor at the New School of Social Research, to testify before a subcommittee on her idea to eliminate the preferential tax treatment of the popular retirement plans. In place of 401(k) plans, she would have workers transfer their dough into government-created “guaranteed retirement accounts” for every worker. The government would deposit $600 (inflation indexed) every year into the GRAs. Each worker would also have to save 5 percent of pay into the accounts, to which the government would pay a measly 3 percent return. Rep. Jim McDermott, a Democrat from Washington and chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee’s Subcommittee on Income Security and Family Support, said that since “the savings rate isn’t going up for the investment of $80 billion [in 401(k) tax breaks], we have to start to think about whether or not we want to continue to invest that $80 billion for a policy that’s not generating what we now say it should.”

we need to start a new party.

I can’t keep my republican party from calling themselves conservatives.

there is a conservative group that is really ok then there is that same loony fringe on the right that you have on the left.

From what I heard, Obama has successfully organized the younger voters and that’s what was not polled or anticipated. He has the young voters convinced that he is for them when all he wants is to reduce this country into 3rd world status.

    this 401K think is nuts.

    http://www.carolinajournal.com/articles/display_story.html?id=5081
    from the link:
Another justification for Ghilarducci’s plan is to eliminate investment risk. In her testimony, Ghilarducci said, “humans often lack the foresight, discipline, and investing skills required to sustain a savings plan.”

yeah - I’m stupid - please take care of me —- geesh

Is it just me, or does the “good ol’ boy” network - Republicans and Democrats alike - still reek of sexism in MSM treatment of Sarah Palin?
If a male politician flares his temper and throws things, then he’s tough and no-nonsense (Rahm Emanuel springs to mind). If a woman does the same, she’s a **tch and a diva.
When a male candidate (Biden!) said “FDR went on television in 1929,” the gaffe was laughed off the screen, all but ignored. Yet when an unnamed RUMOR source whispered that Palin may not have known her geography - that’s plastered over every media outlet?!? It’s not just partisan politics, IMHO. It’s sexism pure and simple.

  19. Karen123 on November 7th, 2008 5:10 am

After all is said & done there’s 1 thing for sure, women have a long way to go as far as being treated fairly on the national political stage. Another thing for sure, the masses are collectively brain dead, media slaves who’ll believe almost anything in an email, projected on a pretty video screen or scribbled in a so called NEWSpaper . A third - blacks will vote for a black no matter what. Sorry if that offends but that’s how it is.
I started out as a devoted democrat am now a devoted independent and I know for sure the democratic party hold none of the ideals it once did. Sarah Palin represents more of those to me. I may not agree with her 100% on everything but I respect her, think she’s an authentic politician OF the people and hope to see her representing woman of all parties in a national run again someday. I think she’s a terrific role model for young girls(even though *gasp* she doesn’t support abortion rights).
None of this hooey is to be believed except of course by numb nuts Obama followers like JoeCool who really are dumb enough to believe a governor of a major state wouldn’t know high school geography. But that’s the mentality of people who vote based on skin color or who’s the “cool” candidate. They surely can’t think & reason for themselves.

  20. Woman_in_Virginia on November 7th, 2008 9:10 am

PUMAsympathiser, please don’t believe that comment about Fox. the key word now with all of the MSM generated lies is to VERIFY with credible news sources ANY thing the MSM or blog commentators spit out.

As for 2012, I say former Lt. Governor of Maryland and now GOPAC Chair Michael Steele for President/Jindal for Vice-Prez with a Palin in an Energy cabinet position. I REALLY like Michael Steele. Ever watch his commentary on Fox? He ROCKS!!

Or maybe John Boehner for Prez or vice prez. We can’t mess around this time trying to pander to the middle. Obviously THAT didn’t work and the conservative party will have to regroup.

You might not think this makes sense, but here’s a quote from ESPN article about North Carolina basketball player Tyler Hansbrough. National Player of the Year last year, Tyler’s back for his senior season and he expects to receive even more “inappropriate” attention from opposing fans than he did last year. Considering Governor Palin earned her Barracuda nickname on the basketball court, I thought she might appreciate the connection.

The Duke University coach had some very sage words of advice for Hansbrough that I think apply four-square to Governor Palin:

“There are a lot of not-very-respectful people who will say some really crappy things but who respect the hell out of you,” said Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski, who has commanded his fair share of “respect” over the years. “Don’t pay attention to the words, pay attention to the attention. The attention is respect. The words are not. If anybody is yelling at Tyler Hansbrough, it’s because they’re mad he’s not on their team.”

We need to start a new party ?? We should call it PUMA.

    LMAO

  23. emm08 on November 8th, 2008 1:03 pm

I just pray that PUMA and its parent body the Grand OLD Party, encouraged by Rush Limbaugh, should live in denial and not do any internal soul searching. The easy ride for President Barack HUSSEIN Obama in 2012.

I can only imagine the look on your faces on the 20th of January hearing…” I, Barack HUSSEIN Obama, do solemny swear ……” PRICELESS…..

Even if he is a Muslim, you cannot do anything about it now !! You lost because of hate…. keep it on and in 2016, you will hear, ” I Jingxu Jian Han, do solemnly swear,….”

  24. Sparky on November 8th, 2008 4:03 pm

emm08 - we should call you by your new call name - moron!
