At times I feel like it's just me against the world...

Thank you, PUMA’s for all your help…even tho we came up short. I appreciate your spirit and your efforts in this election. Let’s work together, beginning today, to work for 2010.

I’m really scared for our country. The election of this ?man? seriously makes me regret my decision 37 years ago to have children, who have now given me grandchildren that I love more than my own life. The country I love will be destroyed and my children and grandchildren’s future is in serious doubt.

I believe that this ?man? is God’s judgment on our nation for rejecting Him. We’ve kicked God out of Public Life, abortion, gay rights, and all the other abominations we have allowed in this country.

May God have mercy on this country and all of us!!

    Well said…

I respect the OFFICE of president; however, I CANNOT respect a person who achieved that office by buying his way into it, through voter fraud, and the myriad of other despicable issues associated with this selectee.

Sorry, as far as I am concerned, the USA will not have a president in 2009–we will have a renter–someone PAYING for the privilege of living in the White House.

He is still an empty suit who has NEVER answered the pressing issue-related questions with ANY degree of satisfactoriness NOR have he or his coterie answered the very serious charges tying him to odious persons and deals.

Truly, I am sorry I cannot respect this person. It is like asking me to admire the wealth a pickpocket has accrued. Is he rich? Yes. Is he good at picking pockets? Perhaps even excellent at it. Is this admirable?

Don’t know what-if anything-PUMA has planned for the future. I would like to think it would involve fair and unbiased campaigns, fair and unbiased media, and insisting on integrity in the candidate it supports.

It will be interesting to see if the **new** voters who rushed out like Xmas shoppers at a Cabbage Patch doll sale for obama will vote the other Democratic nominees in subsequent elections. I am wondering how many of them actually voted on other ballot issues. My guess is that, unless the Dems decide to run someone more chic, younger, cuter, or more hip than bo (which is to say, if they run the usual middle-aged people not of color or exotic background), they will be hard-pressed to attract a voting audience which is-clearly-swayed by good press, pretty pictures, and swell scripts. Perhaps they will consider one of the upcoming members of American Idol, Dancing with the Stars (or whatever show of that ilk is popular in 2012) . . . whichever source they select, they now know that IDEAS play very little real role in elections.

Which country? The democracy that used to be? There was a bumper sticker that said Bush lied and people died. From the start anyone who trusts or believes anything this man says will be proven rather foolish. Obama is to say the least, a dysfunctional human being; he has chosen a way of dealing with life that apparently meets his needs and since he knows it all will be unwilling to learn any other way.

The DNC lowered the bar so far that I don’t think we will ever again have a free and fair election. Every person in this country who was convinced by the Obama campaign that it was OK to Barrig the vote should be ashamed of themselves.

Any woman who allows herself to be reduced to a uterus that might or might not get to choose when to have a baby, while accepting the sexist tactics that were used to undermine the candidacies of Hillary and Sarah as the inevitable cost of being a woman in a ‘man’s world’, should be ashamed of themselves.

Anyone who voted for this man thinking that he was not George Bush will perhaps come to understand that character matters. An arrogant and dishonest man on the left will be no different than one on the right.

  • blondegenes

Exactly! Half of the U.S. woke up today under a cloud because Obama stole an election for which he probably was not even eligible to run for.
I want to see his REAL Birth Certificate, not the suspect Certificate of Live Birth!
I’m not stupid enough, like many, to believe that when the State of Hawaii says they are in “possession” of his birth certificate that it means that he is eligible as a natural born citizen.
When Obama hides, he’s lying through his teeth!
I’m made as fire, like many other Americans are!
    Cooperate with the new administration?
His new Staff jumped up on a table at the the Democratic National Committee Convention and yelled, “the Republicans can F*** themselves!”.
THAT is Obama’s brand of bipartisanship.
I’m hunkering down for the worst.

Badlybehaved, this is the best statement on this issue that I have seen. I will use it (giving you credit, of course):

“Any woman who allows herself to be reduced to a uterus that might or might not get to choose when to have a baby, while accepting the sexist tactics that were used to undermine the candidacies of Hillary and Sarah as the inevitable cost of being a woman in a ‘man’s world’, should be ashamed of themselves.”

FOXNEWS continues to do a hatchet job on Palin.

I may modify some bumper stickers for my vehicles to say:
    Palin * McCain 2012

I am sick of the sexism, and she is competent and smart and ethical.. Put her on top of the ticket next time. I came to have a lot of respect for McCain during this campaign so I’d put him as VP:).

  • Sparky

He will NEVER allow Hillary to run in 2012. He will have her held up in a corner. Pretty soon he will force her and her sisters (us) to start wearting those Sheets over our face!

  • scorekeeper

I’m going to make a prediction – very soon, Mr. Obama is going to find out that the Chicago Machine politics that helped him climb the ladder of success is going to expect a BIG payoff. He won’t be able to breathe without one of his backers’ approval. It’s already starting – Rahm Emanuel as Chief of Staff? Chicago muscle-man crook. John Kerry as Secretary of State? “I agreed not to run for POTUS again, Barry – now, fork over the reward…”
It’s going to be a frightening, exciting, bumpy four years – but we already have one up on the starry eyed throngs of Obama groupies. We know he’s not qualified. We know he’s lied to just about everyone he’s come into contact with. We know that taxes ARE going to go up, the stock market IS going to be volatile, and nobody is going to be immune. Not even the people who had “Obama ’08″ signs in their yards.

  • Sheryl

Lady Hawk, Sparky and all..Thanks for everything we will continue the good fight.

I think we need to pull together men and women and expose the Democratic Party for what it is…In a very public way and never give up… We can bring it to the center ourselves… I believe that starting right now until the next immediate election in the house and senate, and the end of his term in 4 years (one term only) we can begin to organize in a big way on a regular basis… We can plan trips to DC, with signs to end sexism and racism within the leftist party… We can call ourselves “Back to Center” the women before us have done this before for women’s rights… We have to protest in front of MSNBC,CNN,ABC,NBC.CBS…. anywhere the party accepts the leftist view.. We can organize in front of Oprah’s studio, as she supports a party that holds the leftist view…. We can do this ourselves, people of all parties…If we bombard them with our voices they will be forced to listen to us..We can not sit back and let our children inherit this mess..

  • Sheryl

Sorry, I submitted early… We cannot sit back, we are in a very dangerous spot right now with many of our rights in the balance…. We have to make an agreement to get this party on the center track fast, or we will ALL have to vote Republican to get the message out.. Lets face it, Republicans with all that we may disagree with, are not in the business of taking our rights away…. The Democratic Party as it stands today with it’s leftist policies will destroy our country.

  • Sparky

Sing it Sheryl – I hear you! This has not extinguished our flames, rather the fraudulant process in which this man became president has only fueleed our passions.

We march on, we march on for our selves, our children, future generations and most importantly the sustainability of our Country!

God Bless America – Freedom will reign!

    Pounce, Pounce!

  • mercedes von uppity

Elegant statement PUMA Pundit. In it I can see your regret, yet true desire to put america first.

As for the rest of you, I always suspected you were simply Republicans (who consider themselves Dems – mistakenly). And it appears more clearly than ever that this is the case. I mean, respect to you and your beliefs. I’m just sayin’ that although i never thought I agreed with y’all about BO, I came here from time to time just to see what you had to say about him. I do like the man, but I’ve not “drunk the cool-aid” as you like to accuse. I am realistic. I do not think he’s perfect by any means. I do like to read “what the other side says” about those I like. But your articles and tone and vitriol never convinced me that you were genuine. Never made me empathize with you, to take you seriously. Never made me think “hey, these are intelligent, critical, objective people. People who are trying to be fair. Let’s see what I can learn from them. Perhaps they’re seeing something I do not about BO.” Instead, everytime I came here to learn, I just wanted to scoff, roll my eyes and felt a little embarrassed at the obvious anti-Obama *for the mere SAKE of being anti-Obama* chat going on. Your emotionally based, personal agenda is all too clear.

This is not meant to be nasty or unkind or unsupportive. It’s meant to point out that if you hope to win people over (outside of your staunch PUMA base), you could well use an adjustment to your tone. One that the post here captured…but the comments in response did not.

Fr one thing – If you support Palin just because she’s a woman, that’s transparent and shameful to the feminist movement (and how dare you say that a vote for Obama is somehow anti-feminist. Puh-lease). Then again, if you support Palin because you think she’s otherwise worthy, well, that’s equally disgraceful. Probably worse. If you want to be Anti-Obama, that’s one thing. Pushing Palin is a whole other ball game. In all honesty, I have yet to see how she’s defendable as a political candidate from any sort of logical, intellectual standpoint. She’s great for anyone who only cares about pushing extreme social conservatism. Or anyone who simply wishes to be as anti-Obama as possible. Otherwise…I have yet to see it. maybe that’s something you can teach me in the future if you continue to push her.

  • Carmelo Junior

I wonder what job would Hillary do in the Obama administration. Maybe his arrogance will put her back in the trash can untill 2012 to look for female votes.
So far with over 80% of Hispanic support, this fraud-elect doesn’t looks like he is going to appoint a Hispanic to any of his top 5 most important positions. FRAUD-ARROGANT-ONE TERM-PRESIDENT

  • WasHRCnowPalin

    Camelo,

I think it is just wishful thinking on our part that Hillary could ever set foot as POTUS in the Oval Office. The Obozo will toss her a bone but her greatest chance for POTUS was to become a PUMA. No doubt he sold her a bill of goods (maybe even VP in 2012)… but she will never run the top office at this poin…

So our greateest hope for a woman as POTUS is Sarah Palin now…. there are a few others possibly on the edges but she is at the forefront. The Democratic and Useful idiots in the media trashed Hillary and Palin…. we can expect they will always oppose women in power like many of the Obozo kool-aid drinkers who frequent this forum… it s a cultural battle that many of us have been battling for decades… and still will.. now onto 2012!

    Go Sarah 2012!!!

  • PUMAsympathiser

I really want to see this PUMA organizaion continue as a full fledged Voting Block. I know it has been very effective so far. You have everything you need to really become a permanent force.
It’s a most knowledgeabe group, and I think we tend to all agree that there are courrently some issues that are more important that the partisan issues on which we will have varying opinons.
I’d like to see PUMAs as a bipartisan voting block promoted. I’d like to see a red, white and blue Puma logo, with that whole CountryB4Party slogan and products, bumper stickers, apparel, etc. all referencing a central website.

    Republicans 2010
    Palin 2012
    PUMAs forever

The saying, “I love my country, but I fear my government” has never been more appropriate than now.
Obama’s election is driving gun sales up.
    Any wonder?

  • Gojoebo

Blondegenes–Perhaps your comment should be reported to Homeland Security as it borders on threatening language–I think I will alert them immediately!

Blondegenes– I just made a report to the Homeland Security regarding your statement that Obama’s election is “driving gun sales up.” This is an extremely disturbing comment and borders on threatening language. CUT IT OUT NOW as you have gone beyond First Amendment rights. Don’t mess with making threats to our president!!!

I do take note the the ERA is nowhere on Obama’s Agenda. Illinois never ratified it either. How could Ecru-man have won the primaries if misogyny was a hate crime?

  • Sparky

BB – I’m still baffled that an unknown from a year ago with a questionable past to ties to terrorists and failed economic advisors with no supporting evidence of a true birth certificate is about to take office.

I suddenly realized what Obozo was urinating…it’s Kool-aid and JoeBlowsO is always first in line to suck it down. Loser!

Read the NY Post article about how he and Kennedy are treating Hillary. Appears that the Democrats have no further use for her.

  • Anne Marie

    Gojoebo,

Well. I see it has begun, although earlier than I thought. Threats. Suppression. Intimidiation. Government control. Loss of individual freedoms, once taken for granted, including freedom of speech and freedom of assembly.

“Go” “Joe” “Bo.” I suppose that refers to your voting preferences. I find it very sad that you would place fidelity to a candidate above fidelity to country and the Constitution. However delusional you are, though, I must remind you that this isn’t China or Pakistan. This is the United States of America. WE are Americans. We not only enjoy, but also practice, the liberties guaranteed to us by true patriots who dared to rebel against a despotic “king.” Hence, we no longer have “kings” here any longer. “Law” is not arbitrary. “Dissent” is always legal. “Speech” is always free….unless you are a member of the MSM…then it’s paid for and delivered.

If you read some history books, you will discover that the threats you make to commenters on this blog are no different than the threats made by British “loyalists” against American “patriots.” Sadly, though, the colonists had more principles, more spirit, and more fortitude than do present-day Americans. If it were otherwise, this “election” would have had a far different result.

SO, Gojoebo, I respect your right to speak freely. As an American, you are guaranteed that right. However, you do not have the right to threaten others or to supress their rights, their freedom, and their opinions. In short, you may display the American flag, but you cannot tread upon it. You cannot proudly wave it while yet denying others the right to own it. This isn’t George Orwell’s “1984.” God willing, we will ensure it never is.
