At times I feel like it's just me against the world...

It makes sense for Obama to take this stance. He will appear to disapprove, providing himself with plausible deniability while his campaign still sends cash to ACORN and others to make sure that Ohio “schwings” to Obama. If after the fact, fraud is proven, the President Obama will simply pardon them “for their youthful indiscetion.” No other strategy I can think of right now makes more sense than the ploy he’s playing.

So what if his campaign paid ACORN $832,598 during the 2008 campaign alone, and “Pronect Vote” paid ACORN $9,612,115 over the last three years. He has nothing to do with ACORN.

On the ACORN instigated voter fraud issue between the Ohio SecState Brunner and the GOP, the Supremes vacated the Appellate Court ruling based on a procedural rule (the GOP didn’t have “standing”) and not on the merits of any legal argument. The GOP is now trying a different filing method, and this time with the Ohio Supreme Court instead.

The key element is that if questionable votes are not made provisional, they will be counted post haste. If later, some of those ballots are found to be invalid or fraudulent, the election cannot be changed. With secret ballot, it is impossible to determine which of the votes in the composite count were the fraudulent ones. On the other hand, if the votes are held separate — as provisional — then if some are found invalid, they are not counted, and the rest are, insuring that only valid votes are counted.

So, we are back to the top of my post, if there is voter fraud that might help Obama win, then he can just pardon the perpetrators.

Is voter fraud real? Try searching the Internet for cities that cast more votes than they had population. For example, in 2006, St. Louis City had over 105% of their population vote. (After all he adults and the underaged children voted, five more percent more people showed up and voted, too.)

Personal Rant: if we allow ballot box stuffing to become normal, than any corporation, e.g. ACORN, Exxon, et cetera, could stuff the ballot boxes. Then, we would have elections where (let’s say) 900Million votes would be cast in the USA with a population of 300Million. At that point, why not admit that “one person, one vote” is obsolete, and we should just let the major corporations choose the House, Senate, and Exeuctives, so that they can get the SCJustices they want.

Note: ACORN’s work across the USA may have helped Obama slip past Hillary in the primaries.

Hillary Clinton should have been the head of the Democrat ticket!

Re: “his threathening to sic the IRS on organizations that invited Palin to speak at an anti-Iran protest, ”

Speaking of which, let’s remind voters of how he misused the United Church of Christ’s tax exempt resources by giving a campaign speech, “A Politics of Conscience,” at the church’s annual synod in 2007.

Then there were his illegal “Dinner with Barack” fundraising lotteries, at least one of which may have been rigged with a predetermined winner–a winner was announced before the entry deadline. He did modify his most recent lottery in response to complaints from Minnesota law enforcement agencies.

Remember the old saying – he who smelt it – dealt it!

Obama is a dirty, dirty, stinky candidate!

Google on “Lyn Utrecht” and “Obama” and you will see that Hillary Clinton’s campaign accused Obama’s campaign (NOT ACORN, Obama) of harassing and intimidating voters. I am thinking of sending Lyn Utrecht’s letter to the same Department of Justice addresses that Obama’s campaign counsel wrote to.

You still want the DOJ to investigate this, Barry?

    Sparky,

What is that old adage? A fish stinks from the head down? I think it is an appropriate metaphor for Obama and his campaign. The campaign would not employ such fraudulent tactics if the “head” disapproved of them. Vocal orders or tacit consent…they’re all the same, and Obama is to blame.

Sometimes I think I’m watching an old “Godfather” movie, only it’s set in Chicago, and Michael Corleone isn’t so likable, only ruthless.

God help this Constitution if Obama gets elected. I think it will be shred into little pieces, as were the “rules” of the Democratic Primary and Convention.

“All hail (the new) Caesar.” The prospect makes me want to check out foreinger-friendly countries.
