As a military spouse, I want my husband to have all of the support he needs when he goes overseas. I don’t trust Obama and his naive foreign policy ideas and sketchy friends. At all.

The business in Iraq has kept my husband occupied for the last 15 years. For those of you who think Iraq was a friendly place where happy children flew kites all day, don’t worry, I’m sure God will continue to protect fools and children.

As far as those of you who think the economy is our biggest concern, I can assure you, it won’t matter a whole lot how much money you have in the bank if you are dead.

I hope the troops know that the victory must be fought for politically as well as militarily. I have hoped and watched for the Military to come forth and be counted. The American people need to know where they stand and why. In the very least they need to put out a youtube letting the American people know where they stand. I understand that there are large groups of organized Military members who are for McCain. Please put out a youtube with the statistics and heart felt logical reasons why you are for and how many of you are for McCain/Palin! As we all well know youtube is a way around the MSM.

    Re: Troops Overwhelmingly Back McCain/Palin

This guy (General CP) commands the respect of over 95% of the Armed Forces. And most will follow him.

Sarah Palin is a socialist according to her own definition of socialism. She gave oil company profits to her constituents. Quite hypocritical don’t you think?

“Sarah Palin is a socialist according to her own definition of socialism. She gave oil company profits to her constituents. Quite hypocritical don’t you think?”

check out – the Alaska Permanent Fund – a law in Alaska 1982. They invest oil revenue from state lands…. operating government like a business.

    good idea to me.

NEWS FLASH TROLLERS!!!!!!! IT’S YOOOUUUURRR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why anyone would want to give money to the ‘guvment’ instead of keeping it themselves is beyond me. I guess they think that the messiah knows better what to do with it than them. Maybe that’s correct, for the Obamobots, they do seem rather dim-witted.

One of the most overlooked facts of the polls. In NC and FL McCain/Palin will win 2/3 of the military vote. I don’t know about the othe swing states but I know FL and NC won’t go Obama. I’m surprised MD polls so well for Obama with Annapolis being such a large part of the population.

When we have troops in the field they need 100% support from those of us back home. But the reason the framers put a civilian president in charge of the military and gave only Congress the power to declare war is to make sure that the military is only used to advance US policy, whatever that policy may be. W. Bush has his war policy. It is not surprising then that servicemen and women adopt that policy. Obama has a different one. If Obama is elected then the military has to fall in rank and support that policy. The military doesn’t make war policy for good reason. For those old enough to remember, Nixon was elected in 1968 on the platform that he would get the US out of Vietnam. Back then the military, pseudo-patriots, and flag waivers moaned and whined that the world would end and the communists soon would be running our country. That hasn’t happened yet.

  • President Barack Obama

Interesting. No where on these venerated pages do you mention that overseas combat troops have donated SIX TIMES the money to President Barack Obama than to supposed war hero (crashed four planes) John Mccain. Could it be they find President Barack Obama’s “Bring’em home” policy to their liking? No facts about this historic election of President Barack Obama can penetrate your wall of disbelief. Even rabid right wing sites are less delusional and filled with anger than you people. Pumas are in serious need of medication and electric shock therapy.

P.S. Obama will be announced as President by 9 pm est on election night in the largest democratic landslide since LBJ. Cheers!

It should really be noted that the reason this poll wasn’t published outside of the nonsense that is FOX News is because this is not a scientific poll.

In fact, the news story that this originated from on FOX News said just that. Apparently the poster on this site didn’t find that to be important information and omitted it.

The bottom line is that this isn’t a real poll. There was no random sampling and the poll is not representative of anything. An accurate depiction of this poll would be, “Of the 4,300 people out of 80,000 that read Army Times and decided to respond to this survey voluntarily, 68% favor John McCain.”

Stop feigning indignation at the mainstream media when you know you’re reporting garbage.

The troops always overwhelmingly back the republican, this is nothing new.

In 2000, they overwhelmingly backed George W. Bush.
In 2004, they overwhelmingly backed George W. Bush.
In 2008, they overwhelmingly back George W. Bush. Difference is, this time Georgie boy can’t run, so they put McSidekick on the ballot for him.

    Different asshole, same shit.

  • NYCdem

I should also note that during the primaries, the two candidates who received the most support from soldiers and their families were Ron Paul and (gasp!) Barack Obama

I am reading the posts from the B.O. Fan.. And it strikes me very odd. WHY in the world , If Obama is so ahead in the polls, do the supporters of him, have to be so MEAN, nasty and just full of hate??
Obviously, they all really know deep down that B.O. IS not that far ahead in the polls, so now the only thing they have is hate to SPEW, and try to intimidate.

People are getting wise to the Acorn Scandal, and all the voter intimidation, and fake ballots..Just look at what happened in OHIO.. The more the uninformed public starts hearing these stories, the more apt they are to Vote McCain/Palin.
