Was Obama Ignorant About Bill Ayers? Of Course Not…

For a man who is hell bent on showing his superior judgment to lead, it is very interesting how all of a sudden he claims (albeit through his surrogates) that he is a man who is unaware that his associates are domestic terrorists.
Yesterday, his mouthpiece, David Axelrod went on air to spew the following nonsense:
JIM ACOSTA: Now a college professor in Chicago, Ayers and Obama served together several years on a nonprofit board. And in 1995 Ayers hosted a coffee for Obama when the young community organizer was making his first run for the State Senate. At this point looking back, should he not have done that?
DAVID AXELROD: Well I mean, when he went, he certainly — he didn’t know the history.
ACOSTA: The Democratic nominee’s chief strategist David Axelrod maintains Obama at that time had no idea about Ayers’ violent past.
Wait, did he just say Obama did NOT know the History of Ayers?
If we are to believe Obama hack, Robert Gibbs, then we can assume Obama truly didn’t. Furthermore, we can also assume it is a “distraction”
ROBERTS: I just want to try to get to the heart of it so that people at home can understand. Our Jim Acosta talked with your senior strategist David Axelrod about this. In 1995 William Ayers held kind of a get to know you event at his place where he was introducing Barack Obama to the political culture there in Chicago when he was running for the state senate for the first time. David Axelrod said that at that meeting Senator Obama was not aware of Ayers’ radical background. Is that true?
GIBBS: Look, if that’s what David said, that is true. look, again, this is a relationship, excuse me, that Barack Obama has condemned the actions of Bill Ayers. This is somebody that “”The New York Times”” said Barack Obama’s not close to, and, again, John, this is a way of distracting the American people from what’s important. just in this more than’s paper John McCain’s campaign said if we talk about the economy, we lose. That’s why we’re seeing the type of dishonorable, dishonest, despicable smear campaign that you see right now with only four weeks to go in this election.
Well, it seems Obama would have had to be as clueless as a rock not to have known. Erick Erikson provides the following analysis:
At the height of this exposure, major media outlets were quoting Bill Ayers and pointing out his radical past.
What else happened in 1996 when the media was reminiscing about the Democratic Convention of 1968, and interviewing key players like Bill Ayers?
Bill Ayers held a fundraiser for Barack Obama.
And we’re really supposed to believe Obama did not know, by 1996, given all the major media coverage of the 1996 Democratic Convention going back to Chicago despite the 1968 riots — including local and national media interviews with Bill Ayers on the subject — that Obama did not know?
You’ve got to be kidding me.

Ayers was hardly quiet about his life and his aspirations. He wrote a book about it in 2001. Chicago Magazine did a lengthy profile of him at the time, complete with pictures of Ayers standing on an American flag thrown on the ground in an alley. Nevertheless, Obama continued to work with Ayers at the Woods Fund and work together on public events. Either Obama liked what Ayers did, or he’s the most clueless politician to have ever reached the US Senate, and neither commends itself as a recommendation for a presidential candidate.

Country is Headed to a Constitutional Crisis
(Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania – 10/06/08) - Philip J. Berg, Esquire, the Attorney who filed suit against Barack H. Obama challenging Senator Obama’s lack of “qualifications” to serve as President of the United States, announced today that Obama and Democratic National Committee [DNC] filed a Joint Motion for Protective Order to Stay Discovery Pending a Decision on the Motion to Dismiss (which was) filed on 09/24/08.
While legal, Berg stated he is “outraged as this is another attempt to hide the truth from the public; it is obvious that documents do not exist to prove that Obama is qualified to be President.” The case is Berg v. Obama, No. 08-cv-04083.
Their joint motion indicates a concerted effort to avoid the truth by attempting to delay the judicial process, although legal, by not resolving the issue presented: that is, whether Barack Obama meets the qualifications to be President.
It is obvious that Obama was born in Kenya and does not meet the “qualifications” to be President of the United States pursuant to our United States Constitution. Obama cannot produce a certified copy of his “Vault” [original long version] Birth Certificate from Hawaii because it does not exist.
FINELY someone had the guts to challenge Obama’s citizenship. His Mother HAD TO renounce her U.S. Citizenship to marry Sorento and move to Indonesia thus making Barry Sorento NOT A U.S. Citizen.
The court papers were filed in Sept 08.

NYT’s Ayers-Obama Whitewash [Stanley Kurtz]

Shane’s article buys the spin on Ayers’ supposed rehabilitation offered by the Obama campaign and Ayers’ supporters in Chicago. In this view, whatever Ayers did in the 1960’s has somehow been redeemed by Ayers’ later turn to education work. As the Times quotes Mayor Daley saying, “People make mistakes. You judge a person by his whole life.” The trouble with this is that Ayers doesn’t view his terrorism as a mistake. How can he be forgiven when he’s not repentant? Nor does Ayers see his education work as a repudiation of his early radicalism. On the contrary, Ayers sees his education work as carrying on his radicalism in a new guise. The point of Ayers’ education theory is that the United States is a fundamentally racist and oppressive nation. Students, Ayers believes, ought to be encouraged to resist this oppression. Obama was funding Ayers’ “small schools” project, built around this philosophy. Ayers’ radicalism isn’t something in the past. It’s something to which Obama gave moral and financial support as an adult. So when Shane says that Obama has never expressed sympathy for Ayers’ radicalism, he’s flat wrong. Obama’s funded it.
Obama was perfectly aware of Ayers’ radical views, since he read and publically endorsed, without qualification, Ayers’ book on juvenile crime. That book is quite radical, expressing doubts about whether we ought to have a prison system at all, comparing America to South Africa’s apartheid system, and contemptuously dismissing the idea of the United States as a kind or just country. Shane mentions the book endorsement, yet says nothing about the book’s actual content. Nor does Shane mention the panel about Ayers’ book, on which Obama spoke as part of a joint Ayers-Obama effort to sink the 1998 Illinois juvenile crime bill. Again, we have unmistakable evidence of a substantial political working relationship. (I’ve described it in detail here in “Barack Obama’s Lost Years.”

You might be tempted to think the MSM is just lazy or afraid to break this story but this has to be a deliberate white-wash. I see Ayers educational philosophy all over the Marching Obama Youth and Obama’s plans for an ‘internal security force’. Destroy the Empire, Capitalism and White Supremacy from within; start with the teachers and the children; Let’s not forget Bernadine Dohrn. She addressed the reunion of the SDS last year ( clip on YouTube); she worked with Michelle Obama in the 80s; she was convicted; she congratulated the Manson family for their revolutionary work.
P.S. I think Charlie Gibson’s daughter went to Northwestern where Dohrn now teaches; let see the tough questions he asks about this.
A friend sent me an article suggesting that Obama has no sense of humor; from what I’ve seen I’d have to agree; Since he is half-black and light- skinned and an elitist, I propose we stat calling him TAUPE-MAN just to be irritating. Anybody on board?

The Obamaniacs are like guerrillas, and we need to be too. I live in Florida and it’s a key state. If you live in a battleground state, get involved. If you live in NW Virginia, get on the phone, and make calls, BO’s gaining there. We need to get involved as the voice for the on-the-fencers, to help push them over for McCain.
The more I learn about BO, the more disturbing the prospect of him being the president is. And also, call McCain headquarters in your area, and tell them of the ideas you have, and also if there’s heavy advertising for BO in your area. They may know about it, but they need to know that a McCain supporter is hearing that, so that they know where to counteract the BO ads.
