Even Obama’s mentor, Joe Biden thinks Hillary would have been a better pick for VP than himself.
If ever a campaign was destined for implosion, this is it.

now, I can just say to Mr.Biden, that this man is smarter then Obama. Obama prove his love less feelings toward woman especjaly to Hillary and now Sarah!!!I just hope that Hillary will never take (if) proposition from Obama. Also I hope, that Hillary will never attack Sarah in current election.

lol ha ha ha Biden was answering a question. The questioner thanked GOD Obama did not pick Hillary because the questioner didn’t like Hillary and didn’t think she was a good choice for Obama. Biden was trying to discourage such attitude toward Hillary. Please speak the truth. I went slumming on O’Bummer’s website; his answer to the poll numbers is to tell his supporters that there are 1 million more registered Democrats than Republicans. I guess he isn’t figuring how many of us ‘registered Democrats ‘ aren’t voting for him; Obama’s message seems to be formed like this..he’s got a bunch of bloggers who come up with “talking points”; look for a new one on how McCain will get us in a war with Russia.
Truth doesn’t seem to be part of the equation, only what might work.
Some of the people are really pissed that Biden is saying nice things about McCain? They want him to, ” shut the f..-up.” They wish he’d chosen Hillary. A lot of them think O is a wimp and Biden isn’t being quite the attack dog they wanted.
All of this off course left me wondering why Obama people were spending so much time here and came to the conclusion that the reason they don’t respond to what we say, is they are really just here to float some of their really far-out talking points. If you notice, at times they don’t even read what they are cutting and pasting. I don’t know this for a fact but a friend who has been involved in this world a lot longer than I have, says that Obama pays them.
One bloggers instructions included the admonition that we can’t make answers complicated because ‘our voter’ can’t understand more than three ideas at time. In other words KISS; he must know his voters.
I also found some really enlightening pictures including O playing basketball and dunking Hillary’s head; and a caption under a picture of Bill playing the Sax saying
Wanted for being black without a license ( you aren’t black unless we say you are)
Then there is the picture of Ms. O with the words” she dresses so sharp so could cut a b…h. The story about O’s ‘innocent’ pig remark is of course accompanied by a picture of Wilber( Charlotte’s Web) but the very best is the one of a heavily tattooed young man with a tee shirt on that reads, Sarah Palin is a c…! The letters missing here are on the shirt.
All is this is accessible to any ten-year-old that would happen to wander there. He can’t even manage his website; I’m sure it is very popular with young children who’s parents either can’t be home or are unable for other reasons to monitor their children’s use of the web. Or doesn’t he know any of ‘those’ people; then again maybe that is his intent.
So from now on, I’m going to refuse to engage in dialog that is simply meant to provoke. I was able to download and document the pictures…they should get people on board for PUMA; Maybe Hillary will give him an even colder shoulder. For those of you who care about reproductive rights, I think Hillary knows what she said all along, “Obama can’t win!” so in preparation for the dreaded judges, she must be trying to stack the legislative branch with democrats who’ll have to approve those judges.
How anyone could come hear and call US racist is beyond me if they ever taken the trouble to spend time at the “Anointed One’s” site. Again it’s one of the talking points and when you think of it, it has been all along. I wonder how often Obama used that line,” Your just prejudiced because I’m Black ” to further his ambitions.

The way the convention and caucuses were run is especially ironic considering that Senator Obama has introduced bills concerned with voter disenfranchisement. You go Florida and Michigan voters. Obama doesn’t care about women but yet he wants us to get equal pay for equal work and has voted for it.
McCain cares about Women so much but voted 8 times against equal pay for equal work.
Obama voted for Minimum wage increase knowing that more women get paid minimum wage. Goodness that man hates women.
McCain loves women so much that he Voted 17 times against minimum wage increase.
He voted against it because their were other bills that were attached to it that had no bearing on minimum wage. Also, if you are a small business owner and we continue to increase the minimun wage, it will not allow for the creation of new jobs. It’s all in the econoics.
You can’t just keep giving money away to people - the government doesn’t generate money - it comes from us the tax payers. Unfortunately, people like myself that work very hard for what we make are told to work even harder and give it away to somebody else who may (and I said may) not work as hard.

As far as minimum wage, do you really think that a high school kid working at a fast food restaurant needs to make that much per hour? Of course not. What the minimum wage does, is it forces the fast food franchise owner, a small business owner, to pay the high school kids so much money that there isn’t enough left to give raises to the single mothers that are working there supporting their kids. That’s what increasing the minimum wage does. I know, I’m a small business owner.
Hang in there One4Justice, I know how hard it is to maintain a small business, I tried it and it took up a lot of time - I have a tremendous amount of respect for you.

Actually Idnyc, Obama got the democratic nomination. That means that the party which has the majority of voters nominated him. He totally could have been president.
But I’ll tell you the serious mistake that he made that is going to cost him the election. It’s not that he’s black. The mistake that he made is that he thought he would not get elected if he had a woman on the ticket. And he was wrong.
That’s how great this country is. If Obama had just had faith, and followed the principles that he claimed to believe in, he would have chosen Hillary for VP. And then he would have won. He would have been president, black and all.
Obama’s downfall is, like you, not recognizing how great this country is. You think he won’t win because he’s black, and he thought he couldn’t win if he had a female VP. You are both wrong. Pity the both of you.
The original post takes a bunch of campaign quotes and makes hay with them. But didn’t Hillary say real mean-girl things about Barack too? I don’t know, but the media sure thinks so, or maybe it was just Rush Limbaugh. Should Obama nominate a mean-girl for VP? That’s the level of discourse in our media.
Hillary Clinton has served her country well. I voted for her in my state caucus (WA, not Seattle, for this site’s authors). I discounted heated campaign rhetoric, so I support Obama as well, because there was and is no difference between them in policy.
Imagine an alternate reality. Imagine HRC as VP nominee (let alone VP).
Every day the media would wake up and say: “what can we do to drive our pre-existing narrative that Hillary is at odds with Obama? How can we spin any word or action of hers (or Bill’s) to show that they’re anti Obama.” This narrative would be driven by the right wing noise machine, which is very good at what it does.
If the Obama campaign had chosen Clinton as VP nominee it would have been a HUGE “KICK ME” sign, in a strategic location. Obama should be doing the kicking, because Gore and Kerry both got kicked way too much.

I was actually thinking the same during the VP vetting process. I think that if he had picked Hillary it would have been way to much focus on the “first black, first woman” ticker rather than “the issues”…………. You know kinda like the way whoo ha surrounding Sarah Palin now.
But, I will say this, I think Obama underestimated the immaturity of the voters in his party. I think he thought people were going to vote on issues rather than gender and race and all of the other mess that has taken hold of this election year. I think he thought he was dealing with a mentally stable, mature adult group, but its turned out to be anything but. At least 21% of them.

GrandPUMA may have been right… Biden may be replaced by Hillary as the DNC is reeling from the bad decision Obama made in selecting his VP.
It would be the right thing to do but it would be a controversial move… an understatement to be sure….
Obama is a PATHETIC choice as POTUS….. he may backtrack but the miscalculation may have already cost the DNC the election… one that would have been a no-brainer had he done the right thing to begin with.
My husband told me that Obama was in New York to tape the David Letterman show and visited Bill Clinton’s office.
He said that Obama was probably already kneeling down and kissing Bill Clinton’s ring asking for forgiveness and try to figure out a way to have him win this electtion.
Only problem I foresee is if he picks her now this late in the game he will be perceived as flip-flopping (you think?) - he will lose credibility becasue he didn’t pick her the first time around.

If she was on the top of the ticket - they wouldn’t be in the situation that they are in now.

Now just imagine for a moment how disasterous if would be if he were commander in chief!! He takes office and rushes to pull the troops out and then the Iraqi government teeters on collapse and he runs back in! Or he raises taxes and redistirbutes wealth and the economy tanks because businesses go bankrupt and then he panics and rushes to reduce taxes but it is too late to revitalize the businesses that failed … ad nauseum.
His modus operandi in decision making during his campaign foretells (or forebodes in his case) the lack of substance and conviction Obama has. He is merely a marketing program… and one that people are now seeing through!

With regard to speculation about Biden being replaced:
There has been exactly one VP nominee (to my limited knowledge) who was replaced. Eagleton was replaced by Shriver in 1972. The resulting ticket lost in a huge landslide, partly because of the pre-replacement waffling.
This boring history lesson is in response to silly posts here predicting Biden will be replaced. There are similar silly posts on liberal sites predicting Palin’s replacement - equally unlikely.
If you want to speculate, please consider the high probability of a VP (especially one who has recently run a marathon in under 4 hrs) becoming president. VP’s move up both by succession (TR, Coolidge, Truman, Johnson) and election (Nixon, Bush 41). A non-moribund VP nominee who hasn’t shot anyone in the face is the default favorite for the next open presidential nomination.
