I have watched many headlines change throughout the day, in many newspapers. This particular article was really changed because Obama was unhappy with the headline? Usually the article headlines are used to pull people in, generally they become more spectacular as the day goes on in order to get more readers, and attract people to their article on the topic as opposed to others. Of course something written about Hillary is going to be more interesting. How did you know he made them change the headline? Were you on staff in the office when he stormed in? What a fool he is to do so. He should just let the news meida worry for themselves about making more money. What nerve to force a newspaper to alter their headline! Yet again he went over the top, good job of reporting this as soon as you heard the uproar within the NYT office. Keep it up.

As a a grandmother who wants a viable earth for her grandchildren: as a woman who does not want governments telling any woman what to do with her body; as a seeker of justice for ALL; as a concerned citizen who is sick and tired of the Republicans selling my country out to the highest bidders and causing a Recession through faulty economic ideas of deregulation and that if you privatized everything it will trickle down …; …..I support Barack Obama with a few dollars from my SS pension. each month because I want to keep my SS pension and Medicare converage. So much of what I have read on this site is antithetical to what Hillary stood for. Is this a Neocon site afterall?

Thanks, Sparky. Her support of the DOMA, wanting a constitutional amendment defining marriage as only between a man and a woman, her support of a church that would, in fact, psychologically torture gay men and lesbians into thinking that they’re straight – all of this wants me to just go out there and vote for her.

And thanks for letting us know that some of your best friends are gay men. Gee – maybe the next thing you’ll tell us is that some of them are even African American.

Your hatred of homosexuals and your hatred of African Americans is so blatant that it’s not even funny. I doubt you folks will see me around here anymore (Sparky – take heart). I really can’t stand the thought of being around people who would probably have cheered as the Nazi’s carried off homosexuals to the ovens.

I agree with you Sparky, his economics are destructive. I’ve spent my entire life busting my hump to make it —with some serious obstacles along the way. Lots of folks telling me that I couldn’t do it as a woman, including my own father

Having money (that I earn myself) is power. And I refuse to be ashamed for wanting to keep it !

Renshaw, my best friend is a Gay Man and he is not voting for Obama and neither are any of his friends. They are all in the New York and New Jersey area.

I have been to their meetings for one of their clubs and they we’re discussing the issues and they won’t vote for a socialist.

Palin helped move Alaska toward a more inclusive frontier in 2006 when she blocked a bill that would have prohibited gay benefits in the state.”
