Oldie, but goodie. Good thing she is an adult, otherwise it would have been as unfair as all the media coverage about 17 year old Bristol.
In an LA Times report from 2002, it seems Joe’s daughter, Ashley decided to show she is ’bout it, ’bout it and get rowdy, rowdy! She was so crunk that not only did she block the arresting officers path, but she also made intimidating statements. I am not sure what those statements were, but I am sure they involved how “powerful” “important” and “intelligent” her daddy is.
Hmmmm. I wonder why the MSM hasn’t gone apecrap asking if Biden is fit to lead, and wondering what kind of family it is he has… Then again, his name isn’t Todd Palin, and a DUI from 1986 isn’t at play here…
The daughter of Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D-Del.) was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a police officer outside a Chicago bar.
Ashley Blazer Biden, 21, of Wilmington, Del., was with a group of people on a North Side street where several bars are located when someone else threw a bottle at an officer, police said.
When police tried to arrest another person, Biden blocked the officer’s path and made intimidating statements, officer JoAnn Taylor said.
Biden was later released and is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 20.
Sen. Biden’s spokeswoman, Margaret Aitken, declined to comment, calling it a private, family matter.

If you want to make family an issue, fine. Let’s talk about how when McCain returned from Vietnam he discovered that his wife had been in a car accident and was partially paralyzed. he quickly left her for a beer heiress.

McCain must be an amazing guy, because his ex-wife has a McCain for President bumper stick on her car. Cindy McCain has her husband’s step-son from his first marriage working for her.

I’ll second that McCain seems to be a good guy. This story seems to be missed, but it says something about both McCains. Cindy McCain was visitng Mother Theresa’s orphanage and was shown a very newborn infant girl who had been born with a cleft palate. Cindy McCain adopted the baby without discussing it with John McCain. When she came home,she said “Here’s your new daughter.” That is the teenage daughter Bridgette. There was a second child (also with cleft palate, I believe) and Cindy McCain arragned for her to be adopted by her friends - and the McCains paid all of the medical bills for the other child as well.
I think it says something that she didn’t feel the need to even tell her husband before adopting a little baby girl with significant medical needs.
