If you truly supported Hillary, you can’t possibly support Palin. She is the absolute antithesis of EVERYTHING Hillary stands for. As an ardent Hillary supporter, I was not sure who I would vote for after Obama won the nomination UNTIL McCain named Plain as his running mate. There is now NO DOUBT that I will not just vote for Obama/Biden, but I will work hard for his election. If you care about reproductive rights, healthcare, the environment, or any other issue that Hillary has worked so hard for, you cannot possibly vote for McCain/Palin. Anyone who does BETRAYS EVERYTHING THAT HILLARY HAS SPENT HER ENTIRE LIFE WORKING FOR!!!!!!!!!!

Spelling woman, womyn isn’t a feminist act. It just smacks of buying into mindless anti-male rhetoric. It is incredibly inane! I would also love to know who employs you. I’m sure we could come to some agreement about paying you less because of your gender!

I don’t recall anywhere in my post saying that I was voting for Palin just because she was a woman. To the contrary, I said that “I took the time to find out more about her” meaning I spent quite some time on the internet, watching videos of her prior to the VP nomination, reading articles, etc. I am not so uneducated as to vote blindly for anyone, man or woman. I just meant that I was impressed with what I’ve seen so far. Additionally, I stated how upset I was at HIllary’s treatment which had already driven me from voting for the Democratic ticket. I am well aware of the differences between HIllary and Palin; however, I am a conservative Democrat (believe it or not) so Palin’s views are not that far out there for me. I’m a moderate and can see the the value of both sides. She’s gutsy and isn’t afraid of speaking her mind. She’s got a reputation for bringing reform and calling out corruption when she sees it even in her own party. She’s a breath of fresh air if you ask me.

Vote with your mind! If the McCain-Palin ticket is with you on the issues that are important to you, then vote Republican. The same goes for the Obama-Biden ticket, or any other party’s ticket.

My guess is that if you were to meet the people behind the usernames you would find that many of them are male or female Republicans. Don’t let them fool you. Vote with your mind!
