Rezko’s Boys: Obama and Biden

It doesn’t happen often, but it’s about to happen in 2008. A convicted fixer is about to have two of his boys as the official nominees of the democratic party.
Who might those two be? Why, Obama and Biden of course.
In today’s Chicago Sun-Times it is indicated that Biden’s Midwest Campaign manager in the 1988 presidential primary, a guy who also maintained ties with Biden in the early part of his 2008 run, is a key figure in the Tony Rezko trialk. We are referring to none other than Joseph Cari.
Cari pled guilty to a federal extortion charge this year, and like his “mentor”, Tony Rezko is currently awaiting sentencing.

Biden has described himself as a 30-year friend of a key figure in the Rezko trial who’s pleaded guilty to a federal extortion charge in Chicago and is awaiting sentencing.
When the Delaware senator began contemplating his own 2008 presidential run, he initially was helped by Chicago lawyer Joseph Cari Jr., who also served as Biden’s Midwest field director in his failed 1988 bid for president.
In 2005, Cari admitted to taking part in an $850,000 kickback scheme that prosecutors say was part of a larger political fund-raising operation for Gov. Blagojevich overseen by Rezko, who was convicted in June of wide-ranging corruption involving state deals.
On the day Cari’s name first surfaced in the federal probe of the state Teachers Retirement System, the former finance chairman for the Democratic National Committee and for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee was to have hosted a Biden fund-raiser in Chicago. Cari was a no-show at that July 25, 2005, event.
Offering Cari a vote of confidence at the time, Biden said, “All I know is Joe Cari is a friend, and he’s an honorable guy, but I don’t know anything beyond that.”
Amazing isn’t it, I mean what are the chances that both Barack and Biden have political ties to the Rezko corruption scandal. It isn’t far fetched to wonder what Cari did for Biden, what Rezko did for Obama, and what role this played in Obama deciding to announce Biden (at 3am no less) as his running mate.
At this point in time, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that Obama’s “Change” mantra is as grounded in reality as finding a leperchaun at the end of the rainbow.
Just in case you missed all the above, here’s a summarized version: Obama has a convicted fixer (Rezko) raising money for him throughout most (if not all) of his political career, Biden on his own part has an admitted and convicted extortionist running part of his 1988 campaign, and advising him on this one.
Only the delegates can save the Democratic Party from this spectacle in Denver, we PUMAs hope they vote based in their conscience and not the effects of Obama’s Rezko tainted Kool-Aid…

In addition to the Rezco connection, Obama also has had a long term relationship with the unrepentant domestic terrorist, Ayers.Per an article on August 24, 2008 - by Clarice Feldman in Pajama’s media, Obama said that Ayers was “just a guy in his neighborhood. Turns out this is just another Obama lie. The truth is the relationship between Ayers and Obama go back to at least 1995. Obama chaired and and Ayers was a member of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC), which was supposed to improve public education in Chicago It never met its stated purpose of improving public school pupils’ performance. The truth is it probably hindered it, despite having blown through $110 million in the process. As chairman of this group Obama funneled much of the mony to far left groups like Fidelistas and Maoists whose goals, like Ayers, is to turn our public schools into indoctrination centers for the far left.
Once this information comes to light the voters will see that the sole arena in which Obama exercised any executive experience was a failure. Further, the bulk of the 110 million dollars did not go towards funding an improvement in public education, it went into the pockets of far left groups. Once this information comes to the publics attention, will anyone with any common sense vote to give Obama the keys to the Oval Office? The media is so in Obama’s pocket the media has been able to cover this up but as more comes to light, even the media will have to do their job and cover this story.

Obama did exactly what Frederick Douglas did to the Women’s movement, he put women in the back seat once again. Although I will not be voting for McCain- to do so would be in violation of everything I stand for- I shall not cast another vote for another man so long as I shall live.

To ppl like Hillary2012 (not that i am upset by your comments.) I do agree that i would love there to be a woman presedent and that it would be a major breakthrough for womens rights. But either way if obama is presednt it will be a major breakthouth for african american rights and stoping raceism and hate across the country no longer will any one feel like they dont have a voice in this world like hillary would have done too. but if we dont all act soon McCain will be presendent and none of these thing will happen. McCain is Pro-life and still doesnt belive women should get equal pay for equal work! Its 2008! please vote obama you will not rerget it

The Obama campaign downplayed the significance of Cari’s contributions to Biden, noting that Cari was a prolific donor to an array of other politicians, from Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) to Illinois’ other Democratic senator, Dick Durbin.
The Rezko connection is one of the most disturbing aspects of this whole undemocratic primary. You will campaign for someone who you believe in, tirelessly, and not expect a thing in return, but if you want someone to engage in dirty, underhanded and sometimes even illegal tricks for you, they are in it for more than a thank you and a pat on the back. There is something very sinister in the background of this Primary process and that scares me.
How do I know that the fix was not in from the very beginning. We do know that Deans actions with regards to the Hillary states of Michigan and Florida benefited Obama. How do I know that the whole set of events was not Orchestrated and planned from the beginning? All you would need is the cooperation of a very small number of people and Howard Dean to set up this whole set of events from the outset. Dean’s response certainly gives me the appearance of a corrupted process. I believe that it is perfectly rational to aspire to have leadership where there is no question that what they will engage in is above board and above reproach. I think my concerns are valid ones. I don’t need to know I am right. I just need to know that I want to have a process and leadership that guarantees that I don’t have to worry about that possibility. I do know that there were illegalities and corruption, what I don’t know is the depth and breadth and organization of that corruption was, I don’t know if Dean was involved in the illegalities or just a facilitator who did nothing to stop them. But Dean’s political leanings certainly benefited from them.
