Biden - Obama 2008 ! Yippee!

I guess Obama got elected so he could put his mentor at the top of the ticket, and himself as the VP… Only Barack Obama can choose Joe Biden, a man who thinks African-Americans have not produced a single articulate, bright, CLEAN (????) and nice-looking man in over 400 years. Here is the direct quote.
I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,” he said. “I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”
Either way, here is how Barack introduced Joe Biden today:
Let me introduce to you the next President … the next Vice-President of the United States of America … Joe Biden!
I wonder why Obama bothered to run in the first place, if he was planning to place his mentor at the top of the ticket all along…
Exit Question: Does anyone else think that selecting Biden completely negates any claim to “Change” that Obama had promised to bring to the white house? I mean, Biden was elected to the Senate less than 20 years after the end of WWII, 1962 to be precise.
Biden served under every President from Kennedy to Bush II… Yup, he definitely represents “Hope and Change”…

When I heard the quote from Biden describing Obama, I immediately thought to myself….”clean”…fresh, new, no skeletons in his closet. When I further researched it, Biden said his mother used the phrase “clean as a whistle” and I thought “wow, talk about people making something out of nothing”. As an independant, I feel that both parties tend to use exaggerations and falsehoods to pick at little errors that people make in everyday speech. It has been used against Clinton, Obama, and McCain. Biden can now be included in this little game. I actually like Biden’s sense of humor and in your face honesty. That part of him reminds me a bit of Hilary. His comments about Giuliani and 9/11 were priceless…I almost fell off my chair when he said that.
